I though bracken was out of the series?

I think with hodge bracken hussey ponting watson ect out india have to start slight fav's but in saying that india is a great learning tour for the newer players and with so long to go before the next world cup it's probably actually a blessing to have to try them out.

Correct me if im wrong but i think this is lee's first tour to india of any sort.

From what i have seen of him in asia i expect this series will be the beginning of the end for him at this level.

Cricinfo reported that Bracken was expected to be back. Can you please provide me the link of any report which says that he'd be out for the whole series??

Well he's home for the birth of his child, it's hard to see him coming back just for the last few games.

So how many are in the squad?

We have 37 players in the squad but 28 have injured hammy's.

It's meaningful - if India can sustain the type of performance they demonstrated in their Twenty20 match against the Aus, in even three out of those seven matches, it'll be a great series.
