Couple of snippets of news. Jimmah to miss T20's and first 3 ODI's. Bedwetter out of the T20's replaced by Michael Lumb - weird selection that, don't think he's been in any sort of form for Hants...

" main focus is trying to become the best Test cricketer I can be, and ... not playing Twenty20 cricket for Australia gives me more of an opportunity to play more domestic cricket for New South Wales, more first-class cricket, and ... to work on areas I need to work on to become a better Test cricketer."

So England's focus now become the World Cup. For the first jamodi, I reckon the team will be something like-

Bresnan
Swann
Woakes
Tremlett

That's assuming they don't give the likes of Strauss, KP, and Swanny a rest.

aside from one fantastic knock, KP has not doane all that much on tour...should be fresh..good argument for Johann to have a break...swann has hardly been extended either

I would go further and say that the language assumes he will remain Test Captain

Clarke should have fallen on his sword in T20 a long while back.

Damn straight, Nath. We've all been saying it for a couple of years AND calling for ShyT to be annointed as the T20 skipper. About the only thing the CA and the NSP have done right in about 3 seasons, but it took Pup to stand down for the right skipper to be in place, so CA only get half points.

ODI series looks much more enticing than usual ... because we can't be beaten by an innings

YT has done amazing things with piles of dross in the past. I mean he's taken the Vomits to multiple Kentucky Fried Cricket finals, DOD finals and Shield finals. And they're full of shiite.
