Re: Hello World, meet David Warner
Re Warner...his slogathon in a bullshit rubbish game was described by some clown on Sunrise this morning as the best international debut by an Australian cricketer ever...could Warner be from NSW by any chance?
Still, he sure did smack em good.

Re: Hello World, meet David Warner
I am happy to confess I watched the 20/20.
Although it is not the real thing, it has its moments.
Not even the CIA could get me to confess to watching Sunrise.

Re: Hello World, meet David Warner
I heard his club coach speaking on radio and he said that he adopts a baseball stance which is hard for the bowlers to combat, especially as the pitches for limited overs cricket tend to be super flat. He went to say that he's been troubled a bit when the ball swings. Of course there is the small matter of close-in fielders. He feels he may have to adapt his game to adjust to four day cricket but Warner himself aims to play tests.
Just on the lack of swing, AB said the other day that he was surprised that there is no sideways movement at all on Aussie tracks.
And re. the gingers. Interesting to see the return of the red head at a time when they're considered to be an endangered species. It has been forecast that red hair, and eventually blond (e) will disappear if current breeding trends continue.

Mitigating circumstance m'lud...I had been at Rotto (where I watched the 20/20 at the Quokka Arms whilst sipping a light ale) and Sunrise was on the TVs on the boat home this morning...never watched the banal drivel before.embee wrote:Invader Zim wrote:Re Warner...his slogathon in a bullshit rubbish game was described by some clown on Sunrise this morning as the best international debut by an Australian cricketer ever...could Warner be from NSW by any chance?

Re: Hello World, meet David Warner
Believe it or not, Chappelli was just on radio saying that Warner has to be fast-tracked to first class cricket and might be an outside chance to open in tests during the Ashes.
