The Despicable David Warner Thread

Post by eowyn on Sat 11 Jul 2015, 13:58

I disapprove of his despicable attitude/acts.
I disapprove of the "faces" he puts on when he commits his despicable acts.
I especially find the tatty bit of bum fluff he sports on his upper lip despicable.

I also dislike his little Aussie Minion followers.

Each to his own.

He's one of those people I just can't like.

I'm with you there even if it is unpatriotic or heresy to admit this. He is a prized, loose-lipped bogan.

Alan Partridge?

I preferred Billy Cooper playing the Rocky Theme when David came in to bat at Old Trafford two years ago. Subtler.

Apparently he played the "Dad's Army" theme at some point today. Almost Wagnerian in its allusiveness and cruelty.

I cannot see the word 'despicable' without thinking of Daffy Duck.

True.

I absolutely agree re the 'mo', although Dennis Armfield's is still (marginally) worse.

'Despicable Dave' may have legs...

I don't think there's any doubt that Warner is a massive cock, probably both off and on the field. But when he peels off brilliant match-winning Test tons, he could be Hitler and Osama's love child and it wouldn't matter to me. Cool

So good to see I'm not the only one who feels the same displeasure at having to look at him. I just know he'd be a Britain First supporter if he was "English".

Jimmsy said that the lovely England boys invited the Aussies to have a beer with them after the first Test (a warm and fuzzy tradition they'd debuted against NZ, with warm and fuzzy results). The Aussies told them to f*ck off.

I can't imagine Jimmsy's haircut will take that lying down.
