Aussies are funny. Why play one ODI on Friday and the next on Monday? Okay, I understand Monday is a public holiday in Aus, but surely they could have had the previous match on Saturday?

Vaughn Van Jaarsveld was a chance to came in but tripped over himself at training. He's not the most coordinated boy going around. So SA will in theory strengthen its bowling with the big Morkel replacing Boucher, though Kallis probably won't bowl. While Albie moves up to #7.
Australia in contrast, is trying to shore up its batting with White replacing Hauritz, though White might bowl as well given that Punter said he looked the most impressive with the ball he's seen for some time in the nets yesterday.

LOL. Ponting was constantly talking up White's net bowling during the Indian tour. Means sweet FA. Still, it's funny to listen to Ponting try and justify the selection of these players.

FFS, how bad has Aus cricket slid if SHYTYT is being talked up AGAIN by Drunky.
Next thing he'll be wanting to rush a recovered TAYPODGE into the squad. FFS.

I haven't seen the pitch but you'd think Ponting might have tried a different strategy and bowled first today.

That is making the assumption that Drunky is capable of thought.

Aust look like throwing away 300 again.
Haddin at 6 surely can't be our best team.

Last time i saw Botha he "bowled" some serious rubbish but looking at the score it seems that here is made to look like Saqlain Mushtaq

Yeah. The only thing I can think of is that Aust want him to be hte Saf captain for the next world cup.

Looks like YT (the batsman) and Ponting are arguing over the Powerplay.
YT, quite rightly, wants to take it.

Happens every game. The sh!thouse middle order has become very consistent at turning a good start into a sh!t total.JGK wrote:7/186 in the 41st after being 2/100 in the 17th.
