CB Fry doubled up as a woman?
May have, you know what those posh types were like in the early 1900's
Actually I seem to recall that Fry was a bit of a ladies man too. He may have even been paid by one guy to shag his missus - can't quite recall the exact circumstances of that one but it might have been along the lines of he'd rather his missus cheat on him with someone he could trust rather than some stranger.

Antigua - Curtly Ambrose, Andy Roberts.
Barbados - Malcolm Marshall, Obadele Thompson.
Guyana - Clive Lloyd, Rohan Kanhai, Shiv etc
Jamaica - Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell etc
Trinidad & Tobago - Brian Lara, Dwight Yorke, Ato Boldon.
St Lucia - Darren Sammy?
Isn't Viv from Antigua?
And Patrick Ewing would be in the mix for Jamaica which really does product an astounding number of great athletes for its size.

And by the way, Bradman is the only contender for this title for Oz.

So true.
A more reasonable question is - Is there any other sportsperson worldwide that comes close to Bradman?
I'd answer yes, but there's only a small few.

"Oh there they go. There they go, every time I start talkin 'bout boxing, a white man got to pull Rocky Marciano out their ass. That's their one, that's their one. Rocky Marciano. Rocky Marciano. Let me tell you something once and for all. Rocky Marciano was good, but compared to Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano ain't shit. "

Re: Greatest sportsman of each test country
I don't think Rocky is given enough credit for how good he actually was. He had better defensive than people think and could read a fighter well. And his low style was awkward for everyone he boxed.
If you take everyone at their peak I don't think there is a better heavyweight than Larry Holmes. He had the best jab of all the heavies. He could hit hard, move well and take a punch. The punch that Shavers knocked him down with was one of the most shocking knockdowns you'll see and it would have been lights out had it been any other fighter but Holmes got up, recovered and stopped Shavers a few rounds later.

For Australia
Soccer would probably be Johhny Warren, Mark Bosnich, Paul Okon, Craig Johnston
Basketball would be Andrew Gaze
Tennis would be Court
Swimming would be Fraser

Re: Greatest sportsman of each test country
Phurt at the K-Man.
Johnny Warren is one of the greats for what he did for Australian Soccer. He captained the first team to make the WC finals and he was instrumental for keeping the round wog ball game alive in Australia.
Bosnich was a truly truly great goal keeper for about three years. After that he turned in a drug addict. But around the time that Man U wanted him, he was second only to Schmiechel as the best keeper in the world. He is undoubtably Australia's best keeper
Okon is simply the most talented player Australia have ever had. More talented than Kewell. Shame that he was always injured.
I included Johnston as a bit of a piss take.
How can you say that Gaze is not the best player. Don't tell me you rate Longley, Bogart, Heal, Nielson as better players.

Why not? Wasn't she undefeated for something like 20 years?

Re: Greatest sportsman of each test country
PK - it isn't about the "best" sportsman it's about the greatest. Half a dozen people outside of Australia have heard of Gaze. Longley won 3 titles and Bogut is a No 1 draft pick.
Re soccer - Johnston has the best CV with a couple of European Cups but Tim Cahill is probably more valuable than any of them.

But it's squash and it was a chick. Walter Lindrum has greater claims than McKay.
