Aye, cracking free kick from Ronaldo - the guy is unstoppable atm, don't know how Messi was voted ahead of him, if he continues this form until the end of the season he should be no. 1 .

C Ronaldo is simply the best player in the world at the moment. The guy's a knob, but jaysus he can play football. I cannot remember the last time I have been so impressed with someone's foot skills.

He mightin' have the all round skills of using the chest, head and shoulders like the greats before him, but his feet skills are as good as anyone in the history of the beautiful game.

The ten day period over Christmas/New Year's will decide the Premiership, hence this far out, I will say that United are going to fly home.

Don't think so: at least I don't expect any side to turn the premiership into a procession.

Tevez and Ronaldo have been in fine form, if Rooney starts to fire on all cylinders United will win it easily.

Arsenals form has been going down hill, they have looked dodgy in their last 3/4 matches.

I still say that United will win the League with at least three games to go. It won't come down to the last day as it has in the past.

Ronaldo is brilliant but graceless.

Edit: In terms of the way he plays, not his personality.

Yo Mak, I suggest you suscribe to Sky and tune in to 'Revista De La Liga'. As good as Ronaldo is, and yes, I know I hate him, but even I acknowledge the diving, cheating, portugese farkwit has got talent. The boy Messi is on a different level. Ronaldo is undoubtedly a good player, but with so little to chose between them the fact Messi is almost two and a half years younger and nowt but a bairn gives him the edge.

Ronaldo is also the best penalty taker in the world (that I've seen)

It might seem trivial and an easy skill, but many of the world's best players crack under the pressure.

Messi is God-like. 23 goals in his last 28 games for Barca. And he's uncannily similiar to Maradona in style.

There's not many better than Ronaldinho.
