Re: Who will be cricket's Next Big Thing?
Personally, I think Duminy is a tad overrated, whilst De Villiers is underrated. I think AB could well establish himself as one of the top 5 batsmen in the world in the next 12-18 months.

I reckon AB is just about one of the Top 5 at the moment - certainly on form anyway.
JP has come back a bit after his great start but he is no doubt a star of the future.

AB debuted as a 20 year old. I think i'm right in saying that he made his test debut as a wicketkeeper?

aye! Both will get better & be massive problems for tiring bowling attacks in the coming decade.

He certainly played a few of his early games as keeper.

Which 3 Dori?
Duminy, AB and Parnell. Rate Morne Morkel pretty high as well.
The other two are Ishant and Phil Hughes.

Interesting but at 25 and after 52 tests is AB a youngster?
Ishant is going backwards imo.

Young player, ie, still has plenty of years left in his career.
Ishant will get better.

Ab could be challenging Sachin's test run scoring record in about 10 years.

AB played his first match against England if I recall.
He didn't last too long either.

Since their victory in the last world cup, India's T20 record has actually been quite poor.

They are miles overhyped, especially their fielding fair enough, I suppose. I just don't know where it comes from personally.
Saying that, England were - IMO - 3/10 shit yesteday. They fluked through with those two Bhajji 4wd's. Ultra shit.
Re: Who will be cricket's Next Big Thing?
They've got largely hittable bowlers, and a batting line up over reliant on Yuvraj and Sehwag (he was missed), don't know why they were labelled favourites by so many.
Should've been distant fourth behind SA, Pak and SL

Maybe not Pak, but yeah. I reckon the IPL jazzed everybodies brains or something.
p.s. India, you need to give Ishant a rest. He really isn't the same bowler if he cannot keep his intensity/pace up. They could ruin him, he could go the way of many an Indian seamer.
