Bangladesh are striving to become the first side to whitewash the West Indies in our own backyard, courtesy of Hunte the skunt and the WICB.

So will it be the Worst Indies again or is a last minute peace deal on the cards?

My money is on another 'replacement XI', affectionately known as the coalition of the willing, less affectionately known as Scabados.

According to the VC of the WICB, Ryan Hinds has agreed to play the 2nd test.
This will strengthen the replacement team quite considerably (that is how bad the batting was). I just hope they haven't replaced the youngsters Braithwaite or Creary when you have deadwood like Travis Dowlin around.
Might as well make the best of a terrible situation and play one of the youngsters.

So if Hinds is in, who's the one Test wonder scab?
Edit: Sorry, didn't realize from your post that you did not know.

Funny, for the first time I find myself wishing Bangladesh's Test status could be revoked for fear of what they will do to their opposition.

The WICB have sent the youngsters Braithwaite and Creary back to the under 19 competition. Meanwhile can't bat 33 year old Travis Dowlin continues his undeserved test career.
The Scabados squad:
Floyd Reifer (capt), Darren Sammy (vc), Ryan Austin, David Bernard Jr, Tino Best, Travis Dowlin, Ryan Hinds, Kevin McClean, Nikita Miller, Nelon Pascal, Omar Phillips, Dale Richards, Kemar Roach, Chadwick Walton.
My Scabados XI:
Dale Richards (Barbados)
Omar Phillips (Barbados)
Travis Dowlin (Guyana)
Ryan Hinds (Barbados)
Floyd Reifer (Captain, Barbados)
David Bernard Jr (Jamaica)
Chadwick Walton (WK, Jamaica)
Darren Sammy (VC, St Lucia)
Ryan Austin (Barbados)
Kemar Roach (Barbados)
Nelon Pascal (Grenada) or Tino Best (Barbados)
The people of Barbados often boast that West Indies cricket can only be strong again if the team is dominated by Bajans. I hope this team puts that theory to be bed once and for all

WIFAN,
This is not even WI 'A' team I suppose. If you have to put, will it be WI 'B' tem or 'C' team?

This is a West Indies C team Chandan. It has been elevated from D to C with the inclusion of Ryan Hinds.
The likes of Reifer, Dowlin and Best would never have even got close to the Windies side, their international careers were over. Walton and Phillips did not make the Windies A side. Roach and Austin are West Indies A team members. Sammy and Bernard are reserves for the senior team and therefore the most experienced members of this team.

There will be a sort of morbid interest from a numer of forumers as the test progresses believe me.
What a freakshow of a 'test' this is going to be!

Why is WICB not willing to pay the players? What excuse do they have for that? Has to be fairy strong one, because they are almost putting their test status on line, isn't it?

It's not really about money Chandan, it's about terms and conditions. The players have played the last 4 series without contracts or negotiations. The WICB says we will pay you this much and you have no say at all in the matter. If you get injured, tough sh*t.
The players tried to carry on but a 5th series without a contract was just too much for them.

The India series should have generated some immediate revenue. So why is it still a problem getting the players on board?

It would be a shame if Bangars draw level from here.....
They need to get in 300 and make a match of it since they bat last on a difficult pitch...

Bangladesh bowled out for 232, 5 runs behind Windies C.
Kemar Roach took 6/48 with hostile short bowling on an extremely slow/low deck. Yes it is only Bangladesh but this guy has all the attributes of a World Class fast bowler at age 21.
Wicket keeper Chadwick Walton became the first West Indian wicket keeper to take 5 catches in an innings since Ridley Jacobs. One of them was an amazing Dujon style leg side take. If he can make some runs in the 2nd innings Ramdin could be in trouble.

If Tino best couldn't take a wicket against that shower, then his days as an international cricketer are numbered - three to be precise.

He should never have played ahead of Nelon Pascal. He isn't as quick as he used to be either so what exactly has he got going for him?

Hopefully in later years, when the ICC have grown a pair they'll revoke these games test status!

I hope not, Kemar deserved those 6 wickets on another pathetically slow/low wicket. 23 overs of 90mph plus hard graft. The biggest problem we have in international cricket is these pitches. If our full strength side was playing one of the better test nations there would never be a result.
Seriously, if we manage to draw this series with our D/C team on two tailor made Bangladesh wickets then something is seriously wrong with the Bangladesh side.

He might have deserved them but they should be first-class wickets not test ones imo

Well what can they do, it's being played between two test nations, even if one is not good enough to be a test nation and the other is severely depleted.
If the ICC say it is not a test match then they are basically saying the WICB's position is untenable. Do you really see them doing that anytime soon?

They're revoked test status to matches before, there is a precedent.
