My box triffie is Americain, Dunaden, Jukebox Jury, Mouruyan and At First Sight.

I have win only bets for Dunaden, Jukebox Jury and Mouruyan and a place bet (for top 4) for Fox Hunt and Hawk Island (in case it pisses down while I am at lunch).

FFS - Mourayen has been scratched.

Have subbed Niwot in for the triffies.

It was won of my horses in our work sweep.

The weather is fine, the crowd 100,000+ according to the track watchers.

Looks like an international win but Lucas C. is firming ahead of the frog horses atm.

Jukebox Jury is supposed to be the one to head the field early but his lack of a run in oz may count against him despite great overseas form. Americain will have to carry the same weight that only two other horses have done in recent decades to win.

That was my point. 1.08 in a 1200m race ain't to shabby. I don't think she'll have a problem moving up to 1400 next year or even 1600, though I think it was 1600 that stopped Schillachi.

Schillachi was your archetypal sprinter though (albeit an exceptional one) - it was not a surprise he couldn't get a mile. She is something different altogether. Given how easily she cruises in a 1200m I don't see why she wouldn't be able to extend it another 400m. And as sprinters going hard can't keep up with her stroll imagine what she would do to milers

I agree. It is so farking ridiculously easy for her at 1200m who knows how good she'll be if she's actually pushed.
