Cricket is strong enough to survive, primarily because there is little else over the Summer to fill the TV sporting void.
That said changes will be made, and regretably that is the demise of the one day game, and the rise in the bastardisation of the game that is JAMITTs

I can't speak for what happened in Melbourne, but the game was shown live by Nein into NSW. It was a 5.35pm start in Perth, and certainly seemed to start on the TV here at 8.35pm. The Melbourne TV guide also seems to suggest it was going to go live into Melbourne... Any Victorian FBers who are still connected to reality and not living in their own little universe, able to confirm?

Many callers said that there is a lack of characters in Australian cricket atm.

Most said they didn't even know last night's match was on.
