Carberry has a pulmonary embolism? Thats pretty serious. When did this happen? A friend of mine had this and she could barely walk without gasping for breath, never mind play cricket.

Think it was cricket-related. Took a whack in the ribs at the end of the season. Thought no more of it at the time, but then it all went tits-up-a-go-go.

I might have made that up, but I vaguely recall that being somewhere near the story.

So all of England's first choice attack have flown to Brisbane to acclimatise. This means that from the main squad, they only have two fast bowlers to chose from for this game, so they've brought Shahzad with them from the Lions squad. Looking forward to seeing him bowl again.

Collingwood will likely sit out with Morgan getting a go. Would have left Strauss out, myself. He's clearly in great form, whilst Collingwood could do with another knock despite his 90 the other day.

Looking forward to it, not really any pressure on the back up bowlers but a chance for someone to put their hands up.

Tremlett, Shahzad, Bresnan & Monty to be the attack.

Whats the weather expected to be like?
