A question for English forummers Empty A question for English forummers

Post by Lara Lara Laughs Thu 17 Feb 2011, 18:23

Would we ever all meet for drinks and a Test match like the Aussies or are we all too busy and cool for that?

Seems strange that some on here have spoken for 10 years or more but never actually met.

I'm not saying we should do it or even that I want to do it but I would be interested to know what people thought.

Somethings are better kept to the imagination

I now have to forum with the knowledge that

embee is a svelte taiwanese gymnast who drinks pink lemonade and has a vinyl fetish
Lardy is a mung bean eating hippy who believes that everyone should work for the common good (although he really does have two heads)
Zat is actually charming and erudite
and Skully is a bit of nerd and rejoices in recounting obscure stats

Very Happy I hope all those facts are true Gwud.

I think an English meeting would be very strange but quite cool. Of course, someone would have to be the Danny-minder in case his women beating urges made an appearance.

I'm slightly offended that my description was the only one that was remotely accurate. Cool

FWIW, Woody is built like a lifeguard and can pick up chicks by merely tickling them under the chin, and did so all day long at the SCG.

More that I realised I'd been making a fairly obvious point.

So the Gump allusion was a cross between a d'ohh and a d'uhh.

I met Taips at the footy in Saff last June. We didn't fancy each other though, so it was all a bit flat.

BS you wanted to come up to my hotel room as you claimed you had a breathing problem and had to recover.
