Lead of 100 at stumps with 2 wickets down (Bravo FFS). 150 more and WI should be firm favourites. Chanders, Sarwan and Nash to come.

Devon Smith is a joke. He can't play Hafeez at all.

Welly well well. Seems Bishoo produced as many thought he might. Excellent to see a talented leggie coming onto the big stage. Carn you Windies.

Go Windies. Their batting is a pile of gash so good to see them taking a lead here.

Chanderpaul is such a selfish player, needs to shield the lower order and take a few risks yet content with the red ink.

2-2...
Despite my slagging of Chanderpaul, that last wicket partnership of 50 may tip the match the WI way.

6-3, are the pitch inspectors hovering?
If this was a CC match, a points deduction might be in the offing surely?

Lordy, at 3 down for 6 runs and Bishoo still to bowl, the Paksters looked gonesky. But a good unbroken stand has it pretty even. Ganjas need a couple of early wickets and it could be a great finish.

Looks nicely balanced. Interesting the wickets haven't fallen to the spinners in the second dig as yet. Two idiosyncratic teams battling it out.

This Bishoo is quite something isn't he? Hardly seems to bowl a duff ball, and when he does it's only fractionally bad.

Rampaul has also done a great job, he has constantly been at around 90 mph

Was a proper game on before Salman got out. You'd fancy the Windies from here. Everybody's man Daz Sammy has been F'ing you all right in the A. Right balls deep in the A.
Hi!
It's still going to be tightish from here. Probably it'll be who holds their nerve with 20 runs to go.....

Re: WI v Pak Test series in Caribbean, May 2011
intriguing finish for today. the first session was perfect from a neutral's point of view, either team still in with a chance
akmal's approach post lunch will be interesting. i wonder if he will go for it a bit to bring the target down quickly. might well be worth it with just the tail around him and a tough pitch

Do I recall Darren Sammy taking a 7-fer against us one year? Probably do.
Stump to stump medium pace on an up and down pitch is just what was called for.

windies' first win since they beat england by an innings
pakistan's wait for a series win in the windies will continue for at least a few more years. this was probably their best ever chance
