Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
And I can categorically state that this has nothing to do with it-
"NSW simply has the strongest and best cricketing culture, the highest population (one third of the Country), and is the State least likely to have players lured away from cricket by AFL."

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
both shield matches are at interesting stages...rain may save the jellies, while a Victorian (nevill) is doing his best to stymie the chips effort to flog the spivs....fleas has not helped his lamentations by failing in both digs...
Nevill must be considered a serious contender for haddit's place...excellent gloveman and stoic batsman.....if Wade or Paine knock Haddit off it would be tragic for Nevill to have to make way in the spiv team for the woeful Haddit

The injured Bollinger is now batting. Must be tense at the ground.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
lol....spivs go down again ....pity Cutting did not get to bowl at the loathed bollybogan...the bogan had bagged Cutting's efforts in the first spiv effort, implying he was pea heart injury prone bowler
the bogan sure copped his comeuppance...twanged whole pigstring and Cutting takes another 4 wickets in the 2nd spiv dig.
must say it is good that O'Keefe has had a return to form with bat and ball....he and Nifty Nevill kept the spivs in the game

Fair captain's knock by SOK, but Spivs fall short.

FAARRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good match for SOK though. I wonder if he was ever considered in the spinner-go-round discussions by the NSP.

Yay, Tassie. Still technically in it; obviously it's now a race to see who plays Queensland in a Brisbane final.

Great win by Tassie. The downside is that Butters has a hammy & will miss the next game.
I think Doherty's 4/27 & his performance in SA would have given him the nod in the AustA side but apparently not. Seems we are going to have more flat Beer.

Hopefully Beer is just being given a last chance to go flat.

Qld struggling against the Blue Baggers. Qld 6/171.
Lynn 61 & Reardon just out off a rank full toss from Smith for 50. Starc has two. O'keefe split the webbing in his hand in a dropped catch attempt.

Josh Hazlewood doesn't seem to be the same bowler since his back injury.

Aus could do a lot worse than having a goodish left-arm orthodox who cna bat a bit coming in at no. 8.JGK wrote:Good match for SOK though. I wonder if he was ever considered in the spinner-go-round discussions by the NSP.
