It occurs to me that altercation/cloak-n-dagger/exposure threads sell about the best of all.

Nothing in the T & C about reports remaining private. As I said, given that pretty much everyone who made a report couldn't wait to brag about having done so, it hardly seems a breach of trust to bring them into the open.
Re: The reported threads.
Well, I guess at least the public v private messages weren't two-faced: mendacious and venomous, like some sort of Janus in Hades
Who the eckythump IS tac, anyway?
Sometimes the anonymity of cyberspace is like a laughably low budget psychothriller. Or Play Misty For Me with embittered transgenders in all the leading roles.

Up to the end of page 6 until the drunken roob staggered in with some blithering post about the Rugby. I questioned his state of sobriety and he then blathered on about all the grudges he could think of for 4 pages.Zat wrote:Well, a thread with much promise has been completely rooted. I hope you're proud of yourselves.
But back to this thread which includes such gems as Zoggy reporting Vikas, which is gold in itself.

Mebee he had a relapse of health problems. Then again, many suspected there never was such a problem, the aforementioned Banjo roob being no. 1 on the list.PeterCS wrote:Who the eckythump IS tac, anyway?

Put a date on it, though. It was like 2008. Since then, the emotional well-being of both blokes has gone in diametrically opposite directions.
Re: The reported threads.
The old Zog still has some feistiness in him.
Meanwhile Vikas is pretending to turn over a new leaf, which will last as long as about three exchanges with taips.

Re: The reported threads.
First FAQ should include the statement "Don't be a weak qunt and report a fellow poster unless he/she literally threatens to kill you and posts your home address and his/hers ETA at said address, or some other heinous post deemed "just not on" even by the most moderate moderators to ever moderate a moderately moderated forum.
If you do, you will be openly shamed by the moderate moderators by having your complaint made public to allow everyone to point and laugh at you."

Actually I wasn't even aware of the tac with cancer thread until someone (zat I think) ressurected it and I read Dello's taking on his inability to inform the forum personally. And after reviewing the thread I'd have to say I'm about No. 100 on the list.

What was my taking? I don't recall. I wasn't being a heartless cynic, was I? Shame on me, if I was.
Re: The reported threads.
I remember Trev being openly sceptical that there was anything wrong with tac, and that it was a piece of over the top attention-whoring on his part. But most of us erred on the side of "it's easier to be sympathetic and send good wishes than be a cynic and end up looking like a heartless arse".

Be nice if someone could dig up that thread - see how wankerish we all were...

Well it probably wasn't a take as such. From memory (and I wasn't around when the original thread was posted) someone posted a "tac has cancer' thread because he was too ill to post himself. You pointed out that he was actually online at the time. Thus a fair amount of somewhat muted cynicism. Someone raised it out of the blue a couple of years later and the post count got a healthy boost.

I've bumped the thread in question. It still remains an unsolved mystery to this day.
Re: The reported threads.
Looks like I owe Trev an apology. He ws actually the first to give sympathy. It was Laura who thought it was BS. Perhaps she thought it was all Hearsay.

sh!t happens man. It's like Accidents and divorces always happen to others. One never thinks they may land in an extreme situation. You are entitled to think what you want.

Well I was born this way. Whats your excuse for behaving like a class bully?
Dude, don't make me laugh now at your childish and hypocritical show mongering. Lay off and do what you do best. Like telling off the forum owner how he should run the show in the middle of an emotional flounce or reporting people for threatening you when you merely couldn't get the sarcasm in their posts. Or screwing your pet dingos and posting animal porn all over the place while stalking people you don't like. Thats all so mature. Don't push yourself too much mate. I fear you may suffer breakdown and start posting crap and animal porn all over again. Just take a deep breathe, count to 10 and let it go. Seriously.

Re: The reported threads.
Well, I have had Vikas on ignore for a long time, so the only stoushes he has these days, up until last night and today when he and Zoggy have gone at it again, is with you.
Forgive me for assuming his next stoush may have followed recent patterns.

I can vaguely recall Tac mentioning something about his illness way back on the ABC forum.Bradman wrote:skully wrote:Mebee he had a relapse of health problems. Re: The reported threads.
Yeah, I just think it's a bit dangerous to assume that someone who says they're sick, isn't, and to openly ridicule the possibility. But that's Laura, leg glancer, Zim and qmy's game. They're a bit p!ss weak like that.
Seems Trev has joined in as well.
