I was confused between this guy and that other dude who was recently caught lying to get into a team in county cricket. But then these names all sound alike, and for all you know the two probably look alike as well.

Arul Suppiah is a good looking player. Has underachieved. Ditto Nick Compton. Both should have done more over the years.

Taunton is nearly always flat. I've got a feeling the pitches will be a bit spicy, as per England's orders.

Lord's'll be a pancake as usual, but the other pitches should have a little life. Trent Bridge always swings. Old Edgbaston was usually a result ground, so New Edgbaston may well be too.

The Oval'll be a road.
