Disappointing lack of turn on his legbreak, though. And got away with about five full bungers.
A work in progress.

Santokie looked good, I had a feeling he would do well, he's a pretty useful bowler, he just struggles to get into a Jamaica side with lots of pace because he lacks it.
Mathurin had a taylor made pitch to work with but he seems to like bowling against young English batsmen, he got a 7fer against England Lions last year. Bishoo looked pretty usaeful again, but we all know that anyway.
Both sides batting was atrocious, I think the major difference was that we comprehensively outfielded England tonight. I'm not sure how a side can field so differently over a period of 3 days though.
Tbh I'm still a bit embarresed that the likes of Christian, Bonner and Bascombe have ended up with international caps, no matter how well we did in the field this evening.

It'a weird - he got his wicket with a googly, and yet the ball that got the wicket was tailing in if you watch the replay, which is not what you would expect a googly to do.

But we lost to the DJ Smerk Home For The Bewildered Third Sunday Eleven.
Ah well, we have the Ashes and we are officially the number one test side. Not bad for a year's work.
Any doubters can please refer to my signature. Thank you.

At least Swanny isn't mixing his words -
"I'd love to find an excuse for them and say they're inexperienced, but they're not inexperienced in Twenty20 cricket," he said. "I'm not just blaming the top six, I'm blaming the 11 players with the bat because we were pretty appalling."
"The left-arm spinner, you can't argue with 3 for 9, but the three guys who got out to him will probably look at the shots they played and be pretty horrified," he added. "We allowed him to get exceptional figures and he did catch us on the hop. But I'd hope each batsman who got out will look at it and think 'I won't do that again'. We were still in the game at six-seven down at a run-a-ball, but of the wickets that fell, very few were caused by the ball deviating. It was poor shots and poor execution of those shots."

I'm not suprised England were rolled. That really was a team of nobodys & wannabees.

Aye, we should look to mighty Australia and their unblemished T20 record for inspiration.

''..... and by me being a complete c*ck, coming in at 10 running the set batsman out leaving it to the number 11 to win it and then running him out.''
Oh, wait he didn't say that?

West Indies 'C' team show India how its done. Took them 2 games and 3 days to do what India couldn't in about 4 months.
England aren't good enough to coast to wins. Will be interesting to see how the new players do on the Sub-Continent.
