Essex sh!tting bricks. Graham's attempting to go Napeshit - 4, 6, 6, 4, 4, 1, 6.... He will have to do it on his own, though. Maybe he's good for another 138 runs?

Ton for Hales, is the only shred of competence all match from the Outlaws.

Take Napes out of Essex, and what have you got?
Derbyshire, I suppose.

Aye, it couldn't last forever. Shame. We'll probably not go up now. Not sure we deserve to anyway. Was just interested to see if he could get his ton.

Yorkshire looking dead and buried. Sad times.
We should complete our comeback win against the Cider Boys to end the season on 138 points, meaning Worcs need only 2 bonus points from their last game of the season (away at Durham). They could even condemn us to the drop today in their last 4 wickets can hold on for the draw against Sussex.
At least w@nky w@nky have been denied the title.

Plus, if it wasn't for good old SiBo our season would have been totally pathetic. For a side with so many potential England players it has been a sorry tale. Just look at our bowling averages:
Sidebottom: 62 wkts @ 22
Rashid: 39 wkts @ 43
Shahzad: 30 wkts @ 37
PYRAH: 29 WKTS @ 33
Patterson: 21 wkts @ 46
Bresnan: 13 wkts @ 19
Wainwright: 12 wkts @ 38
Ashraf: 11 wkts @ 51
Batting not much to write home about either. No-one averaging over 50. SiBo again one of the better permormers with nearly 400 runs at 20.47. Better record than Anthony McGrath.

Not sure Lancs are QUIIIIIITE out of it yet, though half the side has been trying its damnedest to drown in ineptitude.
Kerrigan has five scalps in the Hampers' second dig, and the match is still going on (I think?).

9-51. And Lancs' slender hopes of the pennant survive even Gaz's overconfident death sentence.

It's things like atavistic Tyke bad grace that spur Lanky people to want "their" errant team to win the CC, even though they plainly don't deserve it this season either.
Just to "spite" the malevolent begrudgers!

169 all out - utter w@nk. Hampshire still need snookers but we did our best today to give them a sniff.

Bugger.
I saw a league table and it didn't have one of those * thingy's to indicate Lancs match was still in progress. Obviously with those points Lancs are still in a position to carry their choke right into the last day of the season.
Also they seem to have brought through a good left arm spinner who can't field or bat, just what England needs.

Or for Worcs to pick up a grand total of 0 points from their last game.
Aside from pitch deductions this hasn't happened all season, although the only team to get a solitary 1pt this season was the leaders Warks when they played Durham. Here's hoping Will Smith and Michael Di Venuto put on a daddy partnership for 110 overs.

I'm not sure it's going to be necessary to go for the choke.
All wuffing apart, Warks have the whip hand now. Playing a flagging and listing Hants should prove a fair bit less taxing than a journey to Taunton. Zums are out of the title race, but they have a decent team, and have a high placing to play for.
As for Durham - after this penultimate round of matches, it does seem more or less all hope has gone for them. Even assuming they gain just about max points from their last game, it is difficult to believe BOTH Warks and Lancs will fail to gain a few bonus points form their respective last games. Only a freak of the weather, I suppose - sun for Durham, rain everywhere else.

Well here's hoping Durham make 500/0 dec and bowl out Worcs for 150 anyway.
Not that Yorkshire deserve to stay up (Sidebottom, Bairstow and Gale aside)

The worst of the weather looks like heading North, so maybe most games should have relatively few interruptions.
