When's it announced, how sh!t will it be? Cricinfo has an article but answers none of these important questions:

Seems England are playing England Lions on the 10th. Should have put it on telly. Probably won't do England much good losing to the backup boys before getting white-washed in the ODI series, but that's the way it goes.

The title of this article should be 'General article speculating about who may or may not be in the ODI squad which could have been written by anyone'

The title is as vague as the content, then.

The article even mentions Moeen Ali as a possibility. I'm a big fan of Moeen but he's got bugger all chance of being picked at the moment and won't get a mention unless and until he starts delivering some seriously big scores for The Pears in List A games next season.

C'mon Bas. The article mentions everyone. Except for Alex Hales. Who you would think is probably second in-line for a ODI debut behind Jos Buttler when we're talking about batsmen. Hopefully he's just forgotten about and sent back to Nottinghamshire to rot for all eternity.

England losing to the Lions would be the best possible thing that could happen, imo. Might belatedly provide a few wake up calls.

Would be good to show those jessies up with a loss to the B's.

As for the article, Dobell's getting too much time and is forgetting that there's a world outside his own brain. Ridiculous picks for some.

I'm just saying that some sections of the media are going down the 'oh he's got purdy shots' route AS PER. This chap's a top 3er and his S/R is probably down below Sunil Gavaskars. It would be an absolute and total travesty if IR Bell is even near the squad, unless they've got a tight budget and don't want to pay for a flight for another drinks carrier.
