It's all the thinking he does.

How reliant are we on the fragile fitness of Gerrard and Parker now?
Yeah, was pretty disappointed actually. Long ball it is!

Just seen a bit of the Italy Russia match, repeating 2010 by the looks of it.

Re: Euro 2012 Thread
Just thought I'd let you all know - JJB are selling England home shirts for £25 and England away for £12.50 on their website (not sure about in store) until Tuesday.
I'm going for an away kit. I wouldn't normally buy an England shirt but the navy blue away shirt is actually really nice for a change. Best one we've had for ages. Also, you can't go wrong for £12.50 and the home kit makes you look a wanker. Like everyone else who wears it.

Italy losing players to injury too, thought it would only be bribes that got them.

McClaren: Rio's had a great season.
^ Sorry, did I miss something along the way this year? Seriously?

When I was drunk yesterday I decided to buy one. Freakish, for me. Probably only the second England shirt I've ever bought (apart from the other time, I've only ever had obscure foreign club teams and an even more obscure English team). I probably won't wear it much, but....

You're not the only one who's kitted out for the summer, Monkey:
Not only a superior shirt but also a superior shirt designer. Umbro? Pah. They're just a subsidiary of Nike.

Nice. There's no claret in it, so it can only obtain a certain level of praise from me.
I do like the new England home shirt, though, it's quite a crisp cut and I like the red badge. Not a bad away shirt, either.

England shirts are alright until you see the qunts in them. The England players, that is. Not the fat bastards sitting around the pubs acting loutish. They're qunts as well, mind you. All German footballers are, of course, the epitome of human decency and kindness. HUMAN DECENCY AND KINDNESS. If human decency and kindness were pointing a gun at you, of course.

I was actually going to mention the fact that the meatheads have taken over the shirt, just as they have with anything else that can be linked to England - their inadvertent iconoclasm knows no bounds. But then I thought that I'm already so down on the country that I thought I'd sound like a zealot of self-hatred and everything-hatred.
Re: Euro 2012 Thread
It's pretty grouse that we get this normally excellent torunament between now and the Olympics. The next 3 months of sport should get this joint jumping a bit

You can be proud of your country but hate it. I'm proud of both of my countries, but I hate them too. People ask me why I support Germany in international football nowadays as if I should be ashamed. I don't even bother with my German heritage. I just tell them the truth. I like and admire the way Germany plays the football. I also like that Germany is starting to swell up with BvB players again. It's been too long.

That's because they've been shit. Makes perfect sense to all us very casual viewers.

Sounds a bit twattish, like you're a part of the Islington sect Guardianista mob.
Like saying you'd turn down sloppy seconds on Cheryl just because Ashley got in there first and 'soured' the feeling

You would say that, though, it's you sort of Express reading type nationalists that would rubbish that sort of opinion. Maybe you're right but either way it'll probably be the most uncomfortable I've felt wearing a footie shirt.
Re: Euro 2012 Thread
Platini has been saying that black players who walk off because of racial abuse will be booked. Prick.

Both sides leave the field and go into their respective dressing rooms to get a pep talk from the manager.
Spectators will go and get a beer
At some grounds a Bavarian Oompah band will play
