Same questions I guess. :#

a) Who do you want to win?

b) Who do you think will win?

c) Who's your dark horse?

BRAND NEW QUESTION:

d) Top goalscorer?

Stop. Your enthusiasm for this thread is too much. Too much I tell you.

Well my England side would probably be:

-------------------Hart----------------------
Walker----Cahill----Jagielka-----Cole
--------Lamps---------Parker------------
-----------------Young-----------------------
Walcott-----Rooney-------Ox------------

Pacy full backs getting forward, a solid centre midfield which can keep the ball and chip in with goals, a pacy attack full of young guns. Jagielka and Cahill have played together a lot. Looks like Rio's virtually ruled out and I would play Terry with Cahill if he could stop being a titanic wanker for 5 minutes.

Looks like Walker is out though. I'd play Micah Richards before Johnson.

Some may have gone for Sturridge up front but I don't give a shit how much people say "being really selfish is good for a striker", he takes it beyond a joke. Learn to pass. Or at least learn to finish. One or the other.

Welbeck starts the first two games. Oxlade Chamberlain is controversial but every time I've seen him he's been class. Who cares if he's young. Give him a whirl. Yeah, the attack is full of midgets but again, I don't care.

And if Walcott starts playing like a twat as he is prone to do, I rate Adam Johnson.

Oh, you know, just trudging through the everyday drudgery of life. We went to Amsterdam last month. Most exciting thing that's happened to me in 2012. Oh, and I've been forced to pay £50 for a Noel Gallagher ticket. I'm still a bit angry with myself about that.

How about you? Still raking it in as a stockbroker? Send me some money please. Thanks.

I must admit I felt a little underwhelmed by the red light district. After all the talk I had heard I got there and thought this is it?

Jagielka can't even get a game for Everton these days. Likelihood is it'll be Cahill and Lescott. Even then, Cahill's not fit at the moment, so it could be anyone.

I'd go with Richards over Johnson at RB if Walker doesn't make it.

Parker's an injury doubt as well. Not sure England will have much of a team.

A realistic XI...?

Code:
                  Hart

Richards    Cahill    Lescott    Cole

            Carrick    Lampard

                  Gerrard

Walcott      Welbeck/Rooney      Young

Not that I'd ever pick Carrick or Young for anything ever. But there's no other serious options in the deep lying midfield role if Parker is ruled out. Unless you count Phil Jones. Which I don't.

Oh, Barry. Yeah, he'd play alongside Lampard. A bit shit, but he's gone all right this season. And he's not Carrick, so that's a positive he's got in his favour. On the negative side, he's Gareth Barry.

The Motherland has a good chance of winning this year. Lots of midfield talent and a fair few Borussia Dortmund MIGHTYz in the squad. It's really hard to pick the team though, and the Bayern mainstays might be suffering from the psychological trauma of being repeatedly raped by the MIGHTYz. Hard to pick a team. Gotze, Reus, Khedira, Kroos, Ozil, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Bender and Gundogan all have a claim on a midfield berth. I think Reus has to play, as probably does Gotze, but that will ruin Loew's Bayern Munich love-in. Schweinsteiger is the only Bayern Munich player who should start on merit. Khedira and Ozil playing behind Reus and Gotze would be ideal, with Podolski up-front. F*ck Gomez. F*ck him.

Too many tourists. Too many stag nights. Too many rules. I personally thought it was overrated. And I heard about women in shop windows. And unless I didn't look hard enough there weren't very many. And tourist after tourist trying to get snap shots (even though photography is banned) of these women was just bizarre.

So hence I thought this is it?

The place must have changed since i was there in '77. It was really popping back then.
I remember spending an enjoyable night at a club that had a flashing neon sign that said 'Real Live F*ck show'
Of course it was the 'Free drink on entry' that won us over.

You just don't get that sort of class in OZ Rolling Eyes
