Re: The Walking Dead
Yeah, with 12.3 million viewers, you've gotta wonder what crazy notions the AMC executives had to piss of Mazzara so badly that he'd walk away. Qunts.

And if Rick can't see that Tyrese - who is built like the Hulk - could be an asset in a scrap, then he must be blinder than the Governor's right side.
I don't know why they're so worried about getting attacked by Woodbury - seemed as if just Rick and Maggie were enough to take down half the town to spring Daryl and Merle.
Let the bloke who just tortured you into your crew? Not sure I'd call that precious. Still, torturing you is like giving you a fresh and funny birthday card, so I can see why you'd be of that mind.
As for Rick, he doesn't know what the f*ck. He hasn't slept since 2009. Bound to twist a man.

Like Rick's "crew" haven't been a bit rude along the way. What with all the cutting off of Merle's hand, the enslavement of Randall (and plan to murder him) and such.
He'll never be cuddly Uncle Merle - and he'd kill you in a heartbeat to save himself - but they'll find more use for him and Daryl in a battle for survival than Glen's whinging about how he got a slap or two.
In any case, the prison's pretty big. They were able to keep the new sacrificial lambs in separate quarters without endangering the group. Why not Merle?
Rick's a bit tired? That's the cricket Australia of excuses.
Re: The Walking Dead
Sleep deprivation twists your mind - plus the stress he's under... he can't be trusted. He should be sedated.
The whole thing is a bit tribal - it doesn't matter what they did to other people, it matters what other people did to them. Merle's too divisive.
But, I'd have probably put him in a wing on his own.

And that's why you're surviving the zombie apocalypse - albeit as a menial shitmuncher in my crew. Which I rule with an iron fist and a shitty stick.

"A television station's regular programming was interrupted by news of a zombie apocalypse on Monday.
The Montana Television Network says hackers broke into the emergency alert system of its Great Falls affiliate KRTV and its CW station.
KRTV says on its website the hackers broadcast that "dead bodies are rising from their graves" in several Montana counties. The network says there is no emergency and its engineers are investigating.
"The message did not come from our station, and appears to be the result of a hacker. Our engineers our looking into the origin of the alert to make sure a similar occurrence does not happen again," KRTV says"

In the comics Michonne gives Tyreese a BJ. Maybe they should be the stars of the show?

Re: The Walking Dead
S03E10 – Home. Grouse
- Spoiler:
- Rick sees another vision of Lori out by the graves. As he approaches, the vision moves to outside the fence, drawing Rick outside. Michonne looks on concerned.
The Guv says he won’t go near the prison, thanks Andrea for her speech and hands over the reins to her while he gets his head straight. He then asks Milton to keep an eye on her.
In the woods, Merle wrongly reckons the Guv has killed all of the prison group, as Daryl suggests going back might be a good idea.
Glen is worried about the Guv attacking and wants he and Michonne to make a pre-emptive strike. Hershel tries to reason and Maggie gets upset and leaves. Glen backs down. But with the threat of the Guv and the hoards, the group thinks it might be time to hit the road. Glen finds Maggie a tad traumatised about the whole naked-for-the-Guv thing. Axel starts to get sweet on Carol.
Daryl and Merle come across a small Hispanic group on a bridge being attacked by walkers. Daryl saves them as Merle sits back shaking his head. Daryl trains his crossbow on Merle as he tries to raid their car. Daryl tells them to go. Daryl and Merle air their past dirty laundry, including their intention to rob the camp in Season 1. They rumble and Merle tears Daryl’s shirt, seeing scars from his father’s beatings. Merle says he ran from his father, leaving young Daryl, because he would’ve killed him otherwise. Daryl heads back to the prison and Merle reluctantly follows.
Glen heads out alone on a supply run, and Beth asks Maggie to feed the baby. Crazy Rick is still outside the fence looking for Lori. Hershel talks to him through the fence, and tells him Glen is reckless and they need his leadership. Rick comes clean and tells Hershel that he’s been seeing visions of Lori. Rick says he knows it’s not her but he’s looking for an answer, then wanders off.
As Axel and Carol make small talk, Axel takes a shot to the head. It’s the lying Guv & crew. There’s then a full-on gun battle, with the Guv just standing out in the open, shooting wildly. A van roars up the road and tears down the front gates. A hoard of walkers is released from the back. Job done, the Guv and crew leave, just as Glen returns. Out-of-ammo Rick is overwhelmed outside the fence but Daryl and Merle arrive in a nick of time. Michonne chops heads off left, right and centre. Glen and Michonne rescue Hershel. Rick looks angrily at the shambling walkers inside the compound.
This means war, shirley?

Re: The Walking Dead
Poor...
A war coming? Well, the prison posse ran out of ammo rather quickly, so unless they're going to go all Ewok on Woodbury and throw sticks at them, that's not really a battle they want to engage.
Maybe ghost Lori can be their secret weapon, somehow. Haunt them to death.
- Spoiler:
- The Axel.

War by stealth, I imagine. Heads rolling, if you get my drift.Dello wrote:Poor...He should've realised from T-Dog that when the writers all of sudden give you a bunch of lines where you get to fill in some of your back story, you're pretty much toast.

The Guv is a very easy to hate character, so that guarantees his survival, I guess.

Local girl. Went to college near me. She probably saw me in the street once and continues to pine for "the one that got away" to this day.
Re: The Walking Dead
I might have mentioned that before. But it's worth repeating: she's basically one of my exes. Give or take.
Re: The Walking Dead
Seems the good prisoners were only there to be killed off so none of the 'main' cast would die. Disappointing.

- Good thing Daryl's back though.
