Re: Trivia & Quizzia 2013 (an occasional series, by whoever wishes)
This one might take a bit more work.
Again from T1 at Lords, England's 3 top scorers in their first innings of 232 were Johnny Bairstow with 41, Joe Root with 40 and Jonno Trott with 39. The "feat" of the three top scorers in a completed Test innings being one run apart or running (41, 40, 39) has occurred numerous times, but only once have the 4 top scorers been four running numbers. Can you name the completed Test innings that featured the 4 top scorers in a running sequence of 4 numbers?
As a hint, it was a total under 200 and the 4 top scores were all under 40.

Sorry L, but with so little Test cricket of late, it's lean pickings to come up with Qs.

DO't apologise. It looks like one of those ones the numbers men just plug some numbers into, and up comes the answer. Not a test of cricketing knowledge, recall, or guesswork as such ... but of one's expertise with Statsguru.
I've ploughed through a few Northern Ashes series since 1993 and nothing has come up

Was it that nonsense when Sri Lankans kept on retiring when reaching their tons against the bangles?

Bumpity. AD must not be around.
What about the highest running sequence of three top scores in a completed Test innings (all out or declared)?
Looking for 3 consecutive scores above 80 in a largish declared total.

Closish h. Of course if you do manage to guess the sequence, I will need you to tell me in which match the sequence occurred.

Re: Trivia & Quizzia 2013 (an occasional series, by whoever wishes)
Ah, I see.
I have checked all the Tests between India and Aus from 1995 to 2000 and the only innings that included multiple 90s by Bannies was the T2 at Calcutta in March 1998. Azza topscored with 163, then the next 2 best scores where 97 by Sidhu and 95 by VVS. Dravid was 4th top scorer with 86.
And Never a new book - always just updated and revised.

Nicely spotted, Mr Bucket.
That should obviously be MC Hammer.
Or NC O'Neill

Q1. Who was the last batsman to not walk when he edged a legitimate delivery to a slips fieldsman when there was no question about whether the ball had carried?
Q2. Prior to the incident in Q1, who was the last batsman to not walk when he edged a legitimate delivery to a slips fieldsman when there was no question about whether the ball had carried?
