Re: The EPL thread (II)
Aye deserved to lose, first 20 minutes United looked comfortable and dominant as soon as the goal went in the wheels fell off, not suprisingly their defence brings their A game against United, the first goal was a bit lucky and the second was offside, but still they took the chnaces where as United did not.
United needed something different in the last 3rd of the pitch despite all the possession not many clear cut chances, need to sign a big forward who can hold the ball up *cough* Berbatov*cough*.
Ferdinand was bringing back his good old brain freezes thought he was over that , clearly not, as for the title race still not over imo, United lost 5 last season and still won the title and if Chelsea win today things will become even more interesting.
In a way it's good to get through a bad patch sooner rather than later if United can peak here on from here they are in with a big chance, but it's all upto Arsenal now if they can keep their cool they should win this imo.
Must win game next week a draw or a loss is not an option after the last two matches.

I started watching 10 minutes ago and I've seen Gerrard misplace 3 passes already.

Couldn't even tell super Frank was on the pitch. Gerrard put Kuyt in who should have scored in the last minute.

He's only just come back from a big 2 month injury and was up against an excellent Liverpool defensive midfield. Hardly surprising. But then you think none of the England team has any talent...

Well. That's the Spanish league amost done and dusted. Madrid win 7-0 to take an 8 point lead.

Re: The EPL thread (II)
Nope. Fabio's never won the champion's league.
Ronaldinho -
Fifa world player of the year x2
European footballer of the year
Ballon d'or
World Cup
Confederations Cup
Copa America
La Liga x2
Champion's League
Spanish super cup x2
Zizou's probably got one or two more.
Maldini's got a lot. Ronaldo too.

Off the top of my head I've got a shortlist of four. Ronaldo, Ronaldhino, Zidane and Edwin Van De Sar. Am I anywhere near?

Hey LLL, how closely do you follow Spanish football?
I'm just wondering what the hell is going on in Barca? class players throughout but still playing second fiddle?

All seems to have gone pear shaped there - and almost overnight in a sense.
Whisperings around suggest the Chelski God Jose may be getting lined up.
Shame ... I like Rijkard ... but somethings obviously amiss.
PS. Mak - I did say last week that ManU were looking a bit jaded ...

I always turn my nose up at that category tbh...
Jimmy Traore has more Champions League winners medals than a lot of class players out there

Most likely half the Blackburn team is injured, can't see anything else than an Arsenal win.

I don't fancy them tonight. Blackburn seem like perfect party-pooping opposition.
A draw, I reckon. 1-1.

Aye looks like a more pacier version of Beckham, won't be suprised if he moves to a bigger club in the summer.
