Neither are playing all that well. Could go either way.
Re: England v South Africa, 1st ICCCT Semi Final, The Oval, 19 June, 2013
I think with all of the complaints about their batting tactics and the ball tampering stories, England are destined to win the tournament. If only to just shut everyone up.

Just had a look at the format to see if there are any rain days for the semi finals and it turns out there aren't. If there is no result then the group winners go through to the final.

India / SL?

Who knows. The Saffies will probably trounce us. If Amla and de Villiers get going with the bat, it's all over for us. And they enjoy our attack.

Their attack is not exactly potent in this form of the game though. It's inconsistent but their batting can be uber powerful if their explosive players all click in the middle-order.

India are through then.
It's all day rain in Wales on Thursaday. As it is every day in Wales.

They could at least have a bowl-out in an indoor sports hall somewhere...
Seriously though, no reserve days for a major international tournament in England makes no sense at all.

England will go through as well. Then the final will be rained out and England and India share the trophy.

I think most of Australia will be willing Amla to do well after Root's vicious attack on him

I'm sick of Tim Bresnan being referred to as a "miserly" bowler. Has ANYONE bothered to check his stats? Economy rate of 5.3, whereas Finn's economy rate is 4.6.

It's a new deadly malware that's targeted towards press offices which replaces "able" with "ly".

They are talking about his actions in the pub. He is a Yorkshireman after all.

Bresnan was lucky last year to play almost all of his home matches in the most sodden of conditions.

Miserly? MISERLY??? I thought he was universally known as THE BIONIC ELBOW!!!!!!Henry wrote:I'm sick of Tim Bresnan being referred to as a "miserly" bowler. Has ANYONE bothered to check his stats? Economy rate of 5.3, whereas Finn's economy rate is 4.6.

which only means saffers aren't playing for a win. Who manages the betting in ICC matches ? All this seems kinda pre-determined for a certain outcome. Can't believe any reason why Steyn can't take to the field in an important match.
