Aussie fielding probably shaved forty plus off the total.

Christian helps England to a respectable score. Should have kept Doh for the death over.
Re: Australia v England, 3rd ODI, Sydney, 19 January, 2014
that maybe so, but Vaughan said it. not that I like Vaughan either just as a big cheat like broad but the point being that trev can't claim hypocrisy when his team is guilty of blatant cheating and then come and cry foul.taipan wrote:CT wrote:reminiscent of broad's blatant no walk when clearly nicked and caught and refused to go. so think you should just keep your proverbial mouth shut cos the poms can't complain even ex captain Vaughan said he should have walked and was a cheat.Henry wrote:More than a bit hypocritical for the Aussies to get all worked up that Morgan didn't walk all things considered. After the Buttler non-catch at Melbourne, why should he?
That would be the same Vaughan who claimed a bounce catch against SA? Quoting Vaughan on anything is poor forumming.

Aye. Lazy running.
Re: Australia v England, 3rd ODI, Sydney, 19 January, 2014
The test squad to Africa is named tomorrow. Bird was on the news talking his chances up but Pattinson looked short of a gallop today which won't augur well for the longer form of the game.

Just saw the replay of Warner's run out of Root. Absolutely stunning fielding.

I reckon they might leave Patto behind to play Shield. He will only play a Test as an emergency and he would be a massive risk given how short of a gallop he is. Ditto Bird - he went for a few in the PM XI match as well.
I reckon they'll go with guys who have played the first half of the Shield season - Bolly and NCM seem the most likely.

It was Bell.
Aye, the dick has talent. If he wasn't such an arrogant little qunt, and watched the ball a bit harder, he might be tolerable.

I think it's noteworthy that both Fork and NCN are getting plenty of work in this JAMODI series.

Given that Fork was part of the initial test squad this summer you'd think his ticket has already been ordered.

As i have said, Finch is a one trick pony. He's made his big score for the series so he will be shyte for the rest.

And he was lucky to get that big score though Maxwell thinks he's a gun.

Aye, but his workload has been very low. Boof & Pup just getting him & NCN into shape.

Aye, both he and Warner are 1 in 5 merchants. We won't be competitive in the big Gilly games unless the middle order carries us.

I have this vague theory that players like Finch who are poor red ball players can never be truly reliable in any format though when the planets align they'll probably look better than anyone on their odd big day. Remains to be seen what sort of short form career Finch has.

Both Finch and Warner's problem is that they aren't very smart.
