Oh, nice to see Fred's still a bit of a wanker. Gave Kohler-Cadmore some mean-faced mouth when he gated him. Good times. England recall? Would fit right in.

This bloke Crook may not have Tait's pace, but he is equally penetrative.

Last year 'we' were calling him 'The Northants Botham'. This year 'we're' calling him 'The New Capel'.

Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Pretty unfair of you both to mention it on two grounds:
1. Steve Magoffin (yes the Steve Magoffin) is taking the wickets - so hardly surprising.
2. Their last five wickets could only manage 250 runs @ 5rpo. So I'd hardly call it a flat track.

Bloody hell . . . .
Steve Magoffin 9 - 4 - 8 - 5
5 fer 8 . . . will seriously bring down his bowling average.
Sorry Monkeh . . .
PS Whoops . . . Petey et moi on the same (wave)length - kinda like Magoffin right now

Hmm, sorry to pull you up on logic but Northants can be
Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Well, it was losing the battle in terms of that sort of wankery that went a long way towards losing us the Ashes... once they sledged us into submission we crumbled. Perhaps we do need him back!Brass Monkey wrote:Oh, nice to see Fred's still a bit of a wanker. Gave Kohler-Cadmore some mean-faced mouth when he gated him. Good times. England recall? Voodoo? Logic?
Anyway, Pants doing better in their second effort. 71-3. Only 218 adrift.

Good point, beamer.
Though two wankeries (perhaps) only make a blight.

Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Magsy's always looked to bowl a good line and length and do just enough to nip out a few wickets ...no idea what speed he is bowling these days ...(there was about 20k's difference from what he bowled at club level to what he bowled for the wozzies) ...that type of bowling will always have a good day where ****** batsmen cant help missing balls on the stumps or nicking balls that should probably be left
I see my boy Rob Newton was able to avoid Magsy's destruction

Gashing the place out ATM - averaging 27 this season. Plus he let a bonafide shitmuncher get him out. He's in the gash books with the rest of them.

Yep, he has165 wickets at 20 for Sussex according to that cricinfo county blog thing so it's no surprise what he did yesterday. Seems like an ideal bowler for county cricket.

Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
He could have 30 wickets @ 80 for Sussex and it still wouldn't be a surprise that he rolled Northants.
Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Showing some real pride here, Northants. 94/5. Toughing it out. Could bat for a draw here.
