Match Drawn . . . bloody Uxbridge track - worse than TB.
Compton's average for the match (out of interest) ....? 177
Well done the ex. Sexie . . . they could use him up at Trent Bridge instead of a certain left handed wanker of a "batsman".
I use the term batsman very loosely.

The Sticklebacks taking a bit of a pasting from Derbyshire's "Falcons" now, in the NatWorst 20T Ejac.
191 conceded off the 20.
They'll have to get their biff on.

Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Looked a nasty one for Beddy yesterday, hopefully no long term damage?

They're not sure yet, but it looks an awful injury - blood gushing from your eye:
Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
I mean, why did he even bother? They could have put up a cardboard cutout behind the stumps, batted a man short and still won. ...

Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Sounds like broken nose and cut below the eye. Suppose less chance of a Boucher/Downton type injury from this sort of incident compared to a small sharp object like a flying bail. Although anything around the eye area can potentially cause some after effects in terms of vision which may be enough to impair if not necessarily end a career at the highest level, like with Andy Lloyd in the 80s (the only Test opener never to actually be out...)Brass Monkey wrote:They're not sure yet, but it looks an awful injury - blood gushing from your eye:

Cheekbone as well. Still, at least he won't have to bat again. What with the gutless wonders they're facing surrendering like they were French

And that's what happens when you get a Willey in your visor.
Stay safe, kids.

They no longer have a name. They're just called the Trannys Select XI.
To their credit, they all play in fetching blouses and pencil skirts.

Maybe paid him in jellybeans - the hit should've gone out on Jos Buttler.

Second hundred of his career/season for Ozglish teenager Sam Hain.

Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
I'm surprised you didn't mention Lewis Gregory, but I suppose it's like taking 8 2nd XI wickets....
Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
No, I noted his efforts. Just quietly going about his business. 40* with the bat too.
Re: English Domestic Season (2014)
Pears 80 odd ahead of the Foxes with eight wickets left. Almost certainly Ajmal's last game for us this season, so a win would be most handy!
