I loved how he was clutching his mouth afterwards - getting his excuses ready for the accidental thing...
Re: Football World Cup 2014
Every time I see Greece threaten to win a game at a tournament I think "here we go again"... they potentially play Costa Rica next whose luck is sure to run out soon. 2004 all over again? Pass the Pro Plus...PeterCS wrote:Man o man. How lucky are Colombia to get this lot of opponents - the "Group of Life". And still they are starting to muff up the golden opportunity.
Yes I know. There is a bit of pretty football even in this backwater group. And the odd world-class player, where not superannuated.
But all the knocked-out teams - yea, even sad old 2-goal, 1-point Engerlund - must be looking at this group with yearning eyes. "If only ..."
I'd have taken Italy, for example, to take any one of them by 2 or 3. Even Oz would have "been" a chaince.

They're cool man. No worries.
As for the Suarez incident - as vilks/Dello said - surely he has to have some sort of psychological problems? You cannot seriously think you'd get away with something like that, with even more cameras than ever? Surely you've got to be a bit wrong to think that there's even an iota of benefit in biting someone? What does it do? Hurt a bit. He'll have to have a tetanus jab. Who gives a bibble? Wanker.

Looks like Greece will get through so Costa Rica's luck continues.
Who would have thought Greece would be the only PIG country to get through to the second round.

I haven't got a clue as to how to post the actual image on its own, so here's a linky to the page.
This is what he needs, and not just on the pitch

Who would have thought Greece would be the only PIG country to get through to the second round.
And as if on cue Ivory Coast equalise.

He needs a 30-minute session of Mayweather Jr. using his bollocks as a speedball.
I see that Faryd Mondragon has just come on the pitch, he's getting nuff love, becoming the record oldest player at the WC - beating Roger Milla.

He didn't use it wisely. Greece scored a penalty in the last 30 seconds..
Re: Football World Cup 2014
Told you, their name's on the trophy... if it's not Costa Rica that is.

That was theft. A terrible penalty decision that will now probably cost the Ivory Coast a spot in the quarter finals given that Costa Rica would have been their next opponent.

Yeah, seems many continue to underrate the Ricans.
Nice finishing by Colombia, BTW.

Craig Foster and Robbie Slater hate each other's guts. I'm also not a Tweeter (save one to Zat to track him down) but the 1st name is the tweeter to the "@" person.
Slater slags Foster's SBS match commentary to which Foster replies "your thoughts are shit".
I tend to agree more with Foster.

Not at all but if you could pick any winner of a group to play in the second round they would be it.
