Re: Australia v India, 2nd Test, Brisbane, 17-21 December, 2014
India playing very much like the team that has one something like one in its last eighteen test matches.
As usual I have to go to the Boxing Day test with the series basically decided.
When will we get a competitive home summer?
Why can't a country with a billion plus produce some decent cricketers capable of playing well outside Asia?

... excusing the typo, it's for the same reason that we can't play well IN Asia. There's no time for adaptation to wickets for touring teams these days.
Remember, we have to win 4-0 before we match their performance against us when we last visited them.

A statement from the Indian team read:
"... Indian team has been asking for the fresh net practice wickets several times for last two days which not been provided instead of that, they have asked to practice on worn out wickets which has uneven bounce because of that two of our batsmen got injured today morning, one of the two batsmen Shikar Dhawan had a right wrist injury because of that he was unable to bat in the morning. He is been examined by our physio and will assess his fitness in sometime."
Lucky their opponents had different wickets to practice on, then. Oh.

Which speaks volumes for the remarkable series win in India under Gilly in October 2004 (Pup's first series).

Quick fire second 25 to bring up Derwood's 50.

So based on this batting, is Derwood at fault for India's collapse by not coming out at the start of play? Or has he needled up.

Speaks volumes for Gilly. I doubt we would have won if the skipper wasn't injured.

Geez you're a barrel of laughs, qmy. Looking for the downer on one of Aus cricket's greatest achievements.
Lighten up, dude. No need to ALWAYS be a glass-half-empty miserable qunt.

The glass was always half full that series. it was regularly overflowing. Just pointing out the bleeding obvious. Just call me Sybil.

Nein just showing vision of some verbals as they all walked off at Lunch. I wonder if the Aus players were questioning the size of Derwood's heart and the fact that 5 wickets fell while he was RH in the sheds?

For the second time in this match, I have heard Brayshaw claiming that Ishant Sharma made a pair in Adelaide. Bullshit he did. Get your facts straight.

Brad Haddin takes the final catch of his test career to end the Indian innings off Johnson who finishes with 4/61.
128 to win.
128 to win.
