For the MCG, I would assume that Rhino comes straight back in for Starc ... if Mitch Marsh has anything more than a minor hamstring strain he will make way for another batsman, perhaps Cowan ... this probably mens that Watson gets another chance, especially given that his bowling was OK this game.

Rogers gone. I'm still a chance.
Can't think of any side in recent memory though that has lost 8 wickets to lose with a target less than 45 though. Would be an historic choke from Aust from here.

Audacious shot by Smith, ramping Yadav.

Both Yadav and Aaron have talent, but they bowl far too many loose balls for this level of cricket.

Yadav has impressed me. He's come on since he was first out here.

Good call. Almost a Man Of The Series effort for his attitude and results in this game alone.

I don't think he has. He was "promising" back in 2011-12, and he's still "promising" now. He hasn't gone forward.

A couple of unlucky dismissals, really ... that catch off Rogers was screaming.
No Mitch Marsh ... here's an opportunity for Haddin to fail again.

Yeah, but we always say that about young Indian quicks. Neither of them really swing the ball. They're a bit up and down, and skid onto the bat nicely. I probably rate Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar higher, but inevitably Shami has gone backwards, and Bhuvneshwar is injured. Hopefully the latter will be fit for Melbourne. They've missed his grit with the bat at number 9 as much as anything else.

Geez, if Yadav had half a brain, that first ball to Haddin would have been a yorker aimed at leg stump from around the wicket. Haddin was always going to go back and across as a pre-meditated movement.

Nice that Midge was at the wicket when the win came.
