Haven't been able to confirm it in any of the usual places but did India rack up the highest score without xavier earlier on.

Well that'd do it. The ABC was talking about 330 in 1954.

Why would it be when he is healthy & taking wickets. Would you drop him for Starc FFS!!. Who would come into the squad to replace him? The leading Shield wicket taker this year is Fekete with 24 at a 19 average. Good figures but he is just not 'fashionable' enough for a callup. The next best is Rimmington. For all the hoopla about Abbott,Patinson, Cummings, Sayers & Bird etc the fact is they hav'nt done enough to warrant consideration.....not that that ever stopped our selectors i guess.

He's taking wickets, but he's being held together by string.

............. which is probably because of the deviation after it clipped the edge of the bat.

But what degree of edge was it?? I guess your theory is that it was only a tiny edge, so it shouldn't matter.

Poor shot from Kohli and the inconsistent Haddin takes a screamer.
India has really thrown a great chance to grab the advantage away. Now they are staring at a deficit.

What the hell are you talking about???????????????
I'm saying that those who said they thought it looked out (before they knew it had clipped the edge of the bat) were probably correct in thinking that the original line was crashing into middle & leg but after clipping the edge of the bat, the deviation would have caused it to only clip leg stump.
Of course it wasn't out.

Haddit should have left it for 1st slip. A spekky catch but he could have easily grassed it.
