More importantly, there is one less supporter of negative gearing in Parliament today...

Stick it in bonds. You need the yield.
Wonder if we'll be stiffed with the funeral bill if it was "electoral business".

I actually got a chopper when I was in Darwin at the weekend (I was working a govt contract so figured the ride would be overlooked). Same distance. Farked if I could find one that cost that much, and they have big ones that fly to the rigs. Makes me wonder if the alleged funny business with someone's chief of staff and mate's rates in reverse are true.

From what I understand, most of the Tories despise Bronny anyway.

Shortarse is such a weak qunt. Gets approval to "have an option" to turn back boats. Trying to have his cake and eat it too. Stand up to Plebiscide and Wong, you weak prick.
He will be the reason the Pinkos can't cash in at the next election on Abbott's inability to win over the public from a personal standpoint.

Doubling down on him not becoming PM might be a wise bet. All he had to say was "subject to an inquiry as to the legality of how they stopped the boats, a govt I lead will consider......blah, blah." Or even, "If no laws have been broken.....(insert motherhood statement generally supporting the policy)." All of a sudden he can divert attention with the emphasis on the secrecy of the current regime ('regime' is another good word to use without actually impeaching anyone without due process).

Aye. Was a free shot to question the current government's actual performance rather than the one they want to tell.

Morgan poll today has ALP 54-46 on 2PP.
Greens primary is 15% (which I don't believe).

Well as a large chunk of that 15 is being used in the ALP's 2PP it had want to be true. I can believe that figure. Govt hasn't had a great fortnight, Bill fails to impress, those that won't vote for Tony but don't really want to vote for Bill are going to park their vote there. I was surprised at the number of people I know who would be a good fit for either of the less looney of the two main parties' factions are actually card carrying greens.

As Lardy noted on the CDL thread, Bronny has quit because she "loves" Parliament too much.

Thus it was written in the stars.
Soon she will be off the Parliamentary rota for good.
