Re: Right, it's like this (Game of Thrones) II
S06E03. A bit meh.
- Spoiler:
- Resurrected Jon embraces supporters Dormund and Eddison, hangs Sir Alliser, Olie and other traitors, then hands over command of the Night's Watch to Edd, and presumably heads off to clean up "this shit" that Davos refers to earlier.
In-training Bran sees back to when a young Ned Stark lays siege to the Tower of Joy (the interweb told me so). But as Ned races up the tower steps to Lyanna (apparently*), Bran is pulled out of the warg, and told he must wait and learn "everything".
Arya's blind training ends when she can defend herself against the Waif. Jaqen returns her sight.
Seasick Sam takes Gilly and son towards the safety of his family.
Daeny meets a disapproving older woman in the Home for Grieving Khaleesi, and told the fact she didn't come here after Khal Drogo's death is problematic.
Varys learns that the Sons of the Harpy's massacre of the Unsullied was funded by Yunkai, Astapor and Volantis.
Cersie commands Qyburn to have "little birds" everywhere in her plot for revenge. She attempts to crash a Small Council meeting but the Council walks out.
The High Sparrow seems to be convincing Tommen to listen to him and the Gods.
A northern ally of House Stark meets Ramsay regarding help to repel the Wildlings. A shaky accord is reached, then Osha and Rickon are handed to Ramsay, along with Shaggydog's severed head.

S06E04. Better.
- Spoiler:
- As Jon and Edd haggle over whether Jon should remain Lord Commander, Sansa arrives at the gate. They hug. Sansa demands they head south and take back Winterfell. Jon says he's done fighting.
Meanwhile, Brienne is in Melisandre's face about revenge for her killing Renly, while saying "by the way, I executed Stannis".
In Vale, Baelish pulls strings to mobilise an army to attack Ramsay.
In Meereen, Tyrion negotiates a peace with the Slavers, but is he just setting them up? Grey Worm worries that the Imp maybe outsmarting himself.
Daeny manages to make contact with Jorah and Daario, but refuses to run, saying "watch this space".
Margaery gets to see a weak and sniveling Loras, who's a broken man. Meanwhile, the Lannisters and Tyrells plot to overthrow the High Sparrow.
Theon returns to the Iron Islands and pledges allegiance to his angry sister.
Osha takes her chance to kill Ramsay, but cops a knife to throat for her efforts.
After receiving a goading letter from Ramsay, Jon agrees to mobilise a Wildling army and attempt to regain Winterfell from the Boltons.
At Vaes Dothrak, Daeny goes before the khals, who are deciding her fate. But she defies them, sets the joint on fire, killing all the khals, emerging naked and defiant to the kneeling Dothraki, who have a new ruler.

Great line from he S6Ep2 review:
I’m not a religious woman, but I defy Christianity to offer a narrative as joyous and fulfilling as a beloved man of questionable parentage rising from the dead.

S06E05. Oh No Dor.
- Spoiler:
- Warging Bran learns the Children of the Forest sacrificed a man with obsidian and created the white walkers to protect them from man. The Night's King touches him in a warg, opening access to the Weirwood Tree for the walkers.
Sansa meets Baelish but tells him to fark off and die. But not before he suggests contacting her Uncle Blackfish for support v Ramsay.
The Waif continues to best Arya in stick fights, saying she is not ready. Arya is asked to poison a Lady Crane, an actress. Arya scopes a spoof play on her family, and is not impressed.
In the Iron Islands, Yara is scooped by Euron for the vacant King position, so her and Theon steal the Iron fleet and flee.
Daeny learns Jorah has been touched by the Stonemen. She commands him to go forth and find a cure so he can be by her side.
In Meereen, we met a powerful new player in red priestess Kinvara, who freaks Varys by recounting the day he lost his junk. She tells him he has nothing to fear if he is a true friend of Daeny.
Ep ends with a whitewalker attack on the Weirwood Tree. The Three-Eyed Raven is killed, and Meera and Hodor flee with Bran. Turns out "Hodor" is short for "Hold the Door", which young Hodor screams (in Bran's warg) as big Hodor holds back the walkers as Meera escapes with Bran. The walkers tear poor old Hodor apart. RIP Hodor.

Aye, he's still alive in the books, along with his bodyguard, Stannis, Shireen, Osha, Barristan, various dire wolves and some other guy whose name I can't remember.
