The man seemed to be done 6 months or so ago.
He's a schizophrenic batsman, Taylor. Bags of talent, but he goes long stretches of horrible form where he looks like he hasn't got a clue what day it is or what he had for breakfast.
And then it all clicks and he's top banana.

According to the Nine speed-gun, so it could be a ploy to boost ratings.
Wasn't convinced. He was bowling quick, but every other delivery was more in the 145-150 range.
But throwing a parade for a dot ball was about all the Aussies had to get excited about on the day.

The ball before was 155.

Expect the fix is in. That said he bowled swiftly.
Maybe a former FB member, of
Pakistani heritage had hacked the speed gun.

Is a bung curse happening? Midge and Bung are level pegging on 310 I think. Could this be why he is bowling tosh?

bowling on flatties in 30 plus degree heat when you have a retirement thought bubble doesnt help your bowling either

Probably this will make that retirement thought bubble grow bigger.

Burns globes, Smith gives Ian C a chance to say 'I told you so...'
For no particular reason I mention that even with the two 550+ team scores, the fifth highest indiv innings for the match so far is 41, and only Voges and (an unfit and due to miss out) Warner among Australia's remaining bats have an innings of 50 plus any time in the series. I don't play the Chicken Little game much but Oz may be in trouble here.

Hubris and dropped catches losmatches.
Oz did not clap Taylor at the end of his innings.

Having said that, both bowling attacks have been completely unable to show any sort of discipline the entire match, so if Aus score quickly (as they are doing) then they could be in a position to declare.
