Well done Warner. The black caps have been toothless but in slight mitigation, a first day pitch which offers NOTHING for the bowlers is pretty dire.

better bowling today from the kiwis. same as in brisbane. why do they have so much trouble showing up on the first day? given how often mccullum loses the toss youd think theyd be used to it

Blatant no-balls overlooked even on DRS now ... is that supposed to send a message to the Kiwis that we pity them?

Sheesh, that shot and stumping would have been embarrassing in C Grade hard wicket cricket.

and now I've seen an even worse one ... Craig on a hat-trick
could be the worst hat-trick of all time if he gets it; talk about 'cheaping' etc

So Smith bats with a strike rate of 39 & then tells the rest of the team to swing at everything.

Starc regularly hitting 148-150 kph, and still moving the ball.

sometime within the last year or so i said that starc always was and always will be a white ball bowler. not quite as bad as writing of warner as nothing more than a slogger but it was still wrong
now if only johnson could remember how to bowl wed be doing just fine
