WTF is wrong with people?
Manly Sea Eagles prop Liam Knight hit with high-range drink driving, speeding charges
Date
March 16, 2016 - 1:04PM
Adrian Proszenko
Manly prop Liam Knight has been charged with high-range drink-driving and exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h overnight.
Knight, considered one of the most promising young forwards in the game, was stopped by police from the northern beaches highway patrol in Forestville about 1:15am on Wednesday.
Police will allege Knight, driving a red Mazda station wagon, was clocked doing 137km/h in a 70km/h zone before they stopped him near the Roseville Bridge. When breath tested, Knight allegedly blew more than three times the legal limit.
According to a police statement: "The driver, a 21-year-old man holding a provisional P2 driver's licence, was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
"The man was arrested and taken to Frenchs Forest Police Station, where he returned an alleged positive breath test analysis reading of 0.176.
"The Narrabeen man was charged with high-range PCA and exceed speed by more than 45km/h.
"He was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice to appear at Manly Local Court on 20 April 2016. He also had his driver's licence suspended."
Manly CEO Joe Kelly confirmed the incident and said Knight had been stood down indefinitely.

Warriors, Raiders and Bunnies looking good things at the line. Should screen snap and frame the current ladder. Filth, rooters and knights stone motherless.
