RIP TJ, a fine player overshadowed by the other two Johnsons in his team, both legitimate champions, all three gone now....he was also the 'stepladder' for Merv Hobbs in that famous mark in the 1961 Prelim.

In happier AFL news, Neale Daniher was named 'Melburnian of the year' (an award I hadn't prev heard of) for his work with MND research. There is a strong move on the SBM for him to be nominated as Australian of the Year, but seriously, is the bunfight that goes with that gong these days what a seriously ill man needs?
