Cracking Qld Derby so far. Broncos benefited from a clear forward pass after HT, but an equally dusty penalty to the Cows sees them in front by 2 with 20 to go.

Aye Wally. No wonder the Spivs can't get near the Toads, with intensity like this between the Qld sides. Fantastic stuff.

Re: Rugby League 2017
Brilliant game. Utterly intense, utterly hardcore and yet both sets of players embraced as mates after the match.
Amazing that Thurston AND Cam Smith reached 2000 career points on the same night becoming only the 5 and 6 players ever to do it.
Gould was talking about how both played juniors together in Qld in the under 6s so tonight was an astonishing co-incident. He didn't mention how astonishing it is going to be when they become Immortals at the same time.
But looks like Matt Scott has also done his ACL. Time to get some cash onto NSW for the SOO.

Life in the NRL is grouse when both the Dogs and the Filth are winless.
Good effort by the Sharkies.

Thank fark I posted the Ladder after Round 1, cos it's the only time the Drags won't be battling to avoid the spoon. Soft qunts were smashed 34-16 at home by the Slimeys.

PMSL @ Coastal Filth
"At the start of the year, Manly appointed a new chief executive, Tim Cleary, with the approval of chairman Scott Penn.
In recent weeks Cleary has decided to make his mark and take on club legend Bob Fulton head on. Cleary claimed his first victim during the week when Kristie Fulton, Bob's daughter, was told that she was no longer needed.
...
It is fair to say her removal did not go down well with her father, and he is sure to want her reinstated. Moves are already under way to make that happen. The problem is that Kristie's sacking came from the man running the club, Cleary, which will pit him head-to-head with Bob Fulton, the man who everyone thinks has the power at the club."
-------------------------------------
0-2 and a shitstorm about to unfold. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of qunts.

Re: Rugby League 2017
Bugger me, the usually toothless Drags beat the Sharkies at Shark Park.
Form seems to mean nothing, with the Filth beating the Cows up Norf, and the Tits overcoming a 0-14 start to mow down the going-well Slimeys.
Perhaps the Tigers have firmed as Spoon faves after that appalling effort in the Nation's Capital.

Gritty effort from the Drags from what I've seen.
Very little actual skill mind you.

Alas, there seems to have been very little skill demonstrated at Kogarah since Sowie left. But a win's a win.

Re: Rugby League 2017
Good win to the Drags over the hapless Tigers. The mighty red V is now in 2nd spot, with the highest points scored and best +/-.
It has to be said that the team has probably had one of the easiest draws so far, but you can only beat those on the park.
The big mobile pack is going very well, and the halves have the backs making constant good ground.
