An ongoing theme. Monty Noble had problems with such issues.

If the Ashes don't go ahead, the whole CA board should be sacked, and banned from any further involvement in cricket. Qunts.

Re: Ashes lockout with Aussie players on the front foot
Just watching the Nein Sports Sunday show.
AS alluded to in the article posted by Red, the players have offered, out of their own pockets, a further $30M for grass roots of Aus cricket. CA has come back and said "get farked" to any reference to revenue sharing in the MOU.
The CA qunts will still not offer any explanation to ACA for this stance.
I reckon the Ashes is seriously under threat.
There's no way I am booking tickets for Addleville while this tripe carries on.

This should be publicised as widely as possible ... this is very obviously a power play and money grab by CA, who are STILL trying to portray the players as the greedy party in this stoush. The CA 'top brass' are imho absolute farming qunts who currently have no interest in the welfare of the game, if they ever did, and who need to be culled as quickly as possible.

A breakthrough?
the players do not get their way, Candice Warner, the wife of Australian vice-captain David Warner, said players would be prepared to strike.
"I think they will. I really think they will. They are standing strong on this and, if they don't get the MOU they want, then absolutely," she told Channel Nine's Sports Sunday.
Who is going to tell her?

They have to recruit a scab team from the parks of Sydney and Melbourne if they don't get this sorted... the current England Test side would still probably struggle against them!

Skully's red instincts have surfaced. Goodonya Comrade.
However odious some of the players may be, the filthy capitalist roaders running CA are truly vile.

Re: Ashes lockout with Aussie players on the front foot
Do CA not realise that the players hold all the cards. No players, no Ashes or Indian one day tour, no revenue.
The players can make a lucrative living from IPL and other circus cricket. I have images of Peever bending Sutherland over the Board room mahogany and rogering him royally, as he says "In my day as head of Rio Tinto, this is what I did to the Unions".
I still can't believe Tubby and Kaspa haven't weighed in on the players' side. Maybe they have and Peever slapped them down with his cock.

I just sent a tersely worded email to CA. I imagine Peever will wipe his arse with it, along with notes from many other "peeved" Aus cricket fans.

Pretty sure Sutherland (for once) is not the villain here.

Australian cricketers have just voted to boycott the tour of Banglaland.
They are certainly resilient and intransigent in attitude.

Aye. Sutherland is responsible for Australia's decline in traditional cricket. He has put the dollar in front of Sheffield Shield, Domestic One Day Comp & Test Cricket. He is a thunderqunt that needs to go.
Re: Ashes lockout with Aussie players on the front foot
The Aussie players are continuing to train but won't be paid for training even if they come to an agreement according to Peter Lalor.
The players are asking for a resolution to this crisis before August 17th.

Just saying he's not the worst of the bad bunch on this occasion (for once). Peever, Roberts, and Howard are the main thunderqunts.

Re: Ashes lockout with Aussie players on the front foot
From an Aussie mate on another forum. Is this correct?
sticking point now is $AUD60 million in additional revenue which accumulated in a subsidiary ledger to which the players believe they are entitled. I couldn't understand why Shane Watson, now retired, was involved in the negotiations but it turns out he, for example, would collect another $AUD1.8 million from the $60 million which would be handy superannuation. The players are now starting to lose the public who think they are just being too greedy now. Most domestic players want to settle and move on but the highly paid internationals are holding out.

Re: Ashes lockout with Aussie players on the front foot
The $60 mill is from the just expired deal
"Current and recently retired male players are still owed $58.5m from additional revenue owed from the last pay deal. That sum will bring to $101m the total shelled out to international and domestic male players above $287m of payments guaranteed under the previous MOU.
CA believes some of this money would be better spent rewarding top women cricketers — who were excluded from the previous MOU by the ACA — and diverting more funds into community cricket.
The ACA considers it “non-negotiable’’ that the men receive the entire amount."
--------------------------------------------
CA is trying to welch on a part of the previous MoU. ACA is unsurprisingly saying "get farked and pay up, you sleazy qunts".
