Looks like a similar thing in the EPL.

Re: Rugby League 2019
I fully expect them to make a strong run at the premiership then lose at home to a couple of relegation bound teams late in the season.

Looks like the Drags have locked in 3rd last for 2019.
Well done to the powers that be at St George for locking in Mary beyond this season.

Browny sacked for finishing way above Mary.

I was flicking between the cricket and the Nags-Bunnies game on Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I see the Drags and the Knights already have their heads at Mad Monday. Peasants.

Obviously not, Nath.
Meanwhile an awful game in the capital sees Manly in front of the Raiders by 4 with 8 mins to go. If the Filth win they can thank the log centre Joseph Leilua who gave away an 8 point try after dropping his knees into the back of the try scorer.

Re: Rugby League 2019
Am I the only person who thought the Manly trainer cheated when the Raiders had made a big break and had the Manly defence shot to ribbons on the 30 m line - the trainer pulls up play to allow the "HIA'ed" (yeah right) winger to walk off?? This allowed Manly to regroup their defence and hold the Raiders off.
The winger was back within 4 minutes!!!

Re: Rugby League 2019
Thanks to the Dogs' late season form, the Drags are now 2nd last, only saved from the Spoon by the shitty Titans.
The Drags last "won" the Spoon in 1938. Of the current NRL teams only the Nags (worst 12th (of 16) in 2013), the Worriers (worst 14th (of 15) in 2004) and the Coastal Filth (worst 2nd last (of 10) in 1947, 48 & 53) have never got the Spoon.

Re: Rugby League 2019
Cracking game yesterday with the Raiders coming back (again) and beating the Sharks with a field goal fest. The 5 total field goals in the match was the highest since 1974!
And at least one commentator on the game did so under very trying conditions:

Now that's chuckle-worthy.
Nice composure under duress. The caller is well known to some of us.
