Re: Rugby League 2019
Easts struggling of late, so Souths and Storm look the likely GF combatants, at this early stage.

My lazy lobster on the Bunnies at the start of the season is looking OK.
But no where near as good as my lobster on Tom Gleeson to with the Gold Logie at 12s - he's now 1.80!

That said, my cheeky tenners on Luke Keary and Mitchell Pearce to win the Dally M have probably ended their seasons.

Your skills have been sporadic this season.
Did you get any money on the Drags for bottom 4?

Got them for the spoon at 67s - they are now 12s I think. Still, it's gonna be hard to beat the Dogs.

Re: Rugby League 2019
After an horrendous opening set where they spilled the ball and conceded a try, I muttered "soft cock Dragons" under my breath as I sat watching at the local RSL.
Fortch they regrouped and ended up handing the shitty last place Dogs a hiding. A win is a win, I suppose.

Re: Rugby League 2019
Sage, sort of.
Coming from you might be a problem.
Amazingly, considering this win snapped a 5 game losing streak, the Drags are equal on points with the 8th placed Slimeys. Only for the woeful 2nd half defensive record of that streak, we might be in the 8.

Cam Smith about to play his 400th NRL game.
It really is an astonishing figure.

Is Keiran Foran the most overrated NRL player ever?
I see he's outstayed his welcome at the Dogs

Meanwhile, Dragons lose to a last second forward pass from the Bunnies.

Don't forget the penalty from the dropout. Gould's gonna be bitching about that next season.

Geez the Dragons were poor yesterday v Slimeys. I'm glad I've been away for 5 weeks.
This year's effort is an insult to the 1000s of loyal Drags supporters.

As opposed to the Stormies, who go from strength to strength.

To say Mary has lost the playing group would be a fair call imo.
As for the Eels much improved this season, and now a handy gap ahead of 7/8 with 5 rounds left.

I think the only thing saving him is the Dragons can't afford to pay him out, but if they can scrape up the coin for that then would have him a narrow favourite for next Coach to be sacked, narrowly ahead of Nathan Brown at Newcastle, and Paul Green at the Cowboys.

Looking like a replay of last year's GF at this point - Storm v R00ters.
