Not good obviously for them and their family and friends. A number of the Stani players are not on big wages and may well live in large households in small houses.
Furri painted a very bleak picture of the situation in India. Once it takes hold in developing countries (like India) or incompetent States like the USA or Brazil, it will be nigh on impossible to control. I see the EU and Poms are looking to step up travel across borders but are sensibly looking to ban travellers from the States.
Will be interesting to see what Scumo eventually does re travel to and from the States. Indian and Chinese students provide high export earnings for us and Unis will struggle even further. It is difficult to see a way forward.

Sage point Skully. It is a classic first world issue.
Possibly the bulk of the World's population use their left hand for a wipe away, their right is reserved for eating. If people are lucky there is clean water, but as the old Berliners would put it, "one hand washes the other".
I think there is a nice satirical essay in this.

Another 33 cases in the shit state of Vomitville overnight. And there'll be swathes of the festering viles coming north to NSW in the school hols.
Apparently* the snowfields of NSW are already crawling with Vic number plates.
Ugh, another outbreak looks assured in Spivtown.

We have to change the reliance on international students. And there is no way we should be allowing people from those hotbeds of infection into the country regardless of the economic ramifications.
The loo roll at both my local supermarkets is sold out. No wonder this virus is spreading. The troops are illogical. So there are now limits again on pasta etc. despite there being reassurances that there are plentiful supplies of all goods.
Saw a guy on the nooz tonight saying he refuses to eschew his cultural habits of kissing, hugging etc. because it is his right to do so. Then footage was shown of lots of people in these hotspot suburbs exercising the rights of their culture to kiss each other and hug etc. What hope have we got? Guess we reap what we sow - mass migration and high density living.

41 new cases in Vomitville overnight but to put that into perspective, the Yanks had a record 38,000 new cases overnight.

Aye. Pence (who is surely a bob or two light) is in charge of the Red Neck House CV response and gave a presser saying they were on top of it all. Same DH also talks about the power of prayer in combatting CV-19.
The Vic outbreak is of course concerning. Three cases were reported in Bayside Ccl where I live. I am back trying to persuade the crazy 94 yo (who claims to be a descendent of mine) to not trundle down the street. She has a bad habit of getting right in people's faces.
I must admit I am completely over it all.

Live in the Bayside area too, but it's in the north were the spread is concerning with people openly defying advice how to contain it.
The restrictions on loo roll etc. have now come in again to deter the psycho hoarders.
