They look like typical millennial chicks to me, all false eyelashes, pumped up lips and massive make up for slutty selfies.
LOL. One of the news feeds managed to contact the brother of one of the trollops, and surprise surprise, he immediately played the race card.
Deary, deary me.
There's also a rumour floating that these two were in Melbourne to steal high end handbags.

Another 627 cases overnight plus 6 deaths as the Victorian peak still hasn't appeared.
NSW cases worryingly sneaking upwards.

Re: Corona Virus
Over 1,000 health and aged care workers have been infected. Around 800 resi care clients ditto.
Watched an interview this morning with a bloke who mum died in the last day or so. She went in for respite care and never got out. Cancelled my aged parent's planned respite in April. Just as well.

Awful stuff, h.
I'm grateful for the precautions my Ma-in-law's home has implemented. Very strict, and has worked very well.

Ta - truth be known I am more at risk of mother h taking a pair of scissors to me and putting me in her scrapbook.
It really is an odd time. Re frail extreme aged folks we have to do better, be they in resi care or getting community care at home.

That is good.
A friend of my mother's is in a bells and whistles pte sector run facility. For months she has been effectively locked in her room and allowed just one visitor a day for a limited time. afaik there has been no outbreak there.
A point you touched on earlier was interesting and I meant to but did not respond at the time. This is about the composition of the care workforce. Yep the workforce relies on underpaid and undertrained staff who are mainly women with heaps born overseas.
Clients want staff who are culturally attuned. My mother wants good old Aussie visiting care workers. "It is not that I am racist Horrie, it is just my deafness means I cannot understand other people."
A few months ago she had an appointment with a specialist dental surgeon. She had a brief chat with him on the blower prior to the first Appointment. She was happy enough and no complaints about hearing. I took her to the appointment.
I sat in the waiting room. Eventually I was called in. My mother was refusing to be examined and claiming she could not understand what was being said. The Dental Specialist was Indian background and spoke with a crystal clear OxBridge accent.
The guy aside from being erudite was a really nice person. I was allowed to make another appt. In the car and then back at the house she repeated, "I'm not racist but I just couldn't understand him. Do you think his qualifications are real?"
meh meh meh

Re: Corona Virus
Just got back from a quick trip to the pub, quick because the covid three effectively put pubs back onto stricter rules. A bitcj about that considering some of the above would seem crass at the very best.
I'll drink my beer at home and think of those with real problems. And hope.

Re: Corona Virus
Went for a beer last night with a workmate, signed in and got our 'customer numbers' etc, bought two beers, then looked for somewhere to sit (customer numbers would be matched by seats available, you'd think?)
No seats.
"If you haven't got a seat, you'll have to leave".
We swilled and left. Ah well.
First world problems.

Have noticed this morning panic buying in the supermarkets which resemble Christmas Eve and Chemist Warehouse too. My understanding is that the supermarche and pharmacies will remain open as essential services yet it doesn't stop this mindset.

Re: Corona Virus
Might be time for the feds to muscle up, tell the state govts to stfd and stfu and follow our lead or else. Having central coord without teeth is useless. If it all it did was put out one and only one message itd be worth the accusations of "junta" that will ensue by the collwction of headless chooks and headlight caught bunnies that is state leadership.
Shit and rhis is mischief making, Billy Hughes once told the ALP caucus he didnt need them and could intro conscription by regulation. Federalise state coppers and biosecurity officers, health workers perhaps?
