I have zero time for either.

I am convinced there has been gross negligence by several senior bureaucrats. Many have died and many more will live with chronic disorders as a result of too smart by half decision making.

The Feds have also been grossly negligent in its malevolent administration of the aged care system.

ROFL. Kim Peake (Health) and Chris Eccles (Prem and Cabinet) are both definitely in the gun judging by excerpts of their evidence to the Inquiry.

The Feds are also responsible for people coming into the country and quarantine. They might have offered the ADF to help Andrews but when that offer was refjected, the Feds had a responsibility to ensure that what Andrews was proposing was sufficient and appropriate. Otherwise they shouldn't have let Victoria accept any returning travellers until it was.

That is, just as Andrews is rightly getting castigated for appointing private security who weren't up to the task, the Feds should be castigated for appointing Andrews who wasn't up to the task.
