Aye Skully. The slow train coming finally reaches the station. Hopefully in the shortened window CA has allowed the Shield, there will be much interest and some good, hard and competitive cricket will be played.

Lots to look forward to not just in the Spivs v Vix match (I am just hoping we are not flogged) but in every game. Who knows there may even be some decent pitches that challenge batsmen and bowlers.

I am looking forward to seeing how Test incumbents and fringe players fare.
