Starc gets Brook, 80 runs better off than he might have been if we’d had a decent keeper.

Haze flattens JB's castle.....this is now quite a good comeback from a mob that half an hour ago couldn't rein in Ali....and now gets Brook FFS!!

Similar session to the first - a good middle third with complete hogwash fore and aft. The double W's look good for another hundred.

283 - 5 or 6 dropped catches, some sloppy keeping and outfielding, but that’s probably just Australia’s honours … so far.

Crawley makes no mistake. Warner fails yet again. Or is 20 the new century for Warner.

Definitely Australia’s day, despite what the Keighley KP said afterwards. If we’d got another wicket or two it might have been evens, but the start tomorrow is crucial to prevent the game running away from us.

Could have been a lot worse given the drops, as well…

Why did they ban runners? it used to be quite entertaining.

When Pope got injured, becos he had batted, he had to field or else they said he wouldnt be able to bat in the 2nd. So as ali has batted, does he also have to field tomorrow or he wont be able to bat in the 2nd? Seems daft.

Because, in Adam Gilchrist’s words, people used to ask for runners for being overweight, unfit, fat qunts…

Does make it farcical when a batsman is clearly genuinely injured, and just has to stand there and slog. If you’re not going to allow a runner, allow a substitute to bat.

I went to bed as Wood and Woakes slogging got them to 7-250.

Dropped catches cost us at least 100 runs conceded.

Hands like buckets. He would have snaffled it.

3 regulation catches went down, Smudge dropped a real toughie, while Carey's was the most costly. Went at it one handed when he should've went with 2.

Yeah, I remember his involvement, just got my Aussie wicketkeeping eras slightly out!

Anyway, Borezball is winning the day so far today…
