Re: AFL 2008 thread
guffaw at skullywag...went to the game at the Collins Dome -what a dreadful unvix like venue...we kicked inaccurately...nick davis and mickey o both missed several sitters...jude bolton twice kicked out of bounds on the full from gettable range...we were stiff....still as at the late (and greatly lamented) Jack Dyer would say .."bad kicking is bad football"...our young kids plus jolly, kirk and kennelly kept us in the game

Re: AFL 2008 thread
Two teams that play pressure football for an entire game ...you've got to expect some skill errors ...neither able to deliver a knock out blow ...
The umpiring is at its usual inconsistent level ...****** if i know how anyone can demand payment for the crap that is served up on a week to week basis ...

Re: AFL 2008 thread
sage comment from embee....btw Mrs Staker has been remarkably quiet this week...would have expected her out there knee deep in the media demanding her boy be rubbed out for the rest of the season

Re: AFL 2008 thread
West Coast havent learnt much ...
They are making noises about defending Kerr's headbutt suspension ...expect the following ...hire a QC ...dazzle the tribunal with legalese ...call in a biomechanist from UWA (probably the bloke that thinks Murali is under 15 degrees)....dazzle the tribunal with scientific jargon....Call in a technician from Channel 7 Perth (Eagles sponsor) to dazzle the tribunal about paralax error...show photos of D Kerr visiting sick kids in hospital ...show photos of Scott West in a nazi uniform ...Result Kerr gets off and Radio Eagle gets flooded with calls from thousands of Eagles loving grannies complaining about Eastern States TV stations and Media picking on West Coast players ...
Let the ****** do his time ...might teach him something

Re: AFL 2008 thread
Meanwhile the fence at the bazzadome is to be padded so poor Barrington won't hurt his hand on it again - what a sook act, if he hadn't softened his hand up burying it in Staker's cakehole there wouldn't have been a problem.
