it's not worth more than 1 week anyway (pre-guilty plea). So should get off with a Goodes-esque reprimand.

Buddy isn't a protected spiv, he's gawn. Five week suspension and a return in round 18 sounds just about right...
It's pretty 'grouse' there's a chance Ablett snr may not go down as the best Gary Ablett in AFL history.

Use whatever Malthouse had been drinking just before his press conference last night, Anything that tastes that foul has to be a good stain remover.

Can't even see Trev sticking his head that far down the barrel:
'We only lost the Ashes because Australia have better cricketers!'
Earlier on in the week he tried to invent 'blockbluster fatigue syndrome'. Apart from the obvious answer 'Who demands all these Blockbusters in the first place?', you'd think after a couple of finals wallopings in Melbourne with the Eagles, he'd have twigged by now that whinging about that sort of thing only undermines team morale: 'It's just not fair, even the coach says so!'

Re: AFL 2008 thread
Well I had a great time at the MCG yesterday.
So this season I've managed to see the Blues beat the Wet Toast Beagles at Subi, and witness the outpouring of grief from around 40 000 Wozzie ferals, and yesterday the outpouring of grief from around 50 000 Pie ferals (it was their home game)
Just wish I'd been nearer to either Fat Ed or that gold-jacketed buffoon.

Re: AFL 2008 thread
Is there anything funnier than a Mick Malthouse post-loss press conference? I'm sure the Vomit media just champs at the bit to be the first to ask him the most aggravating question they can think of and then let him entertain them with his pus and bile for the next 15 minutes before he storms out in a huffy hissy fit.Fred Nerk wrote:Use whatever Malthouse had been drinking just before his press conference last night, Anything that tastes that foul has to be a good stain remover.

Depriving West Coast and Collingwood of premierships makes him a great person ...
